. I've made my views on Control clear.  Let it just suffice to say that I wanted an option to side with TIM, before he became "lol indoctrinated"

That's not a thing, he's been indoctrinated for decades. There's no Illusive Man without indoctrination, that was Jack Harper, and he's long gone.

He opposed the reapers in ME2 and in parts of ME3.  And he can be convinced to kill himself, that alone proves some part of his mind is still his.

I don't really want to get bogged down into a discussion about TIM's indoctrination.

Except, unlike Saren, TIM didnt kill himself because he thought siding with the Reapers was wrong. He did it because you convinced him he has weakened humanity.

That and showing how your squadmates got on the Normandy were the only issues addressed by the EC. All the stuff that they didn't expect people to ask about.

Even those it didn't really solve.  How did squadmates that were back at the FoB get on the Normandy?

I never said it solved them well Posted Image

Doomsday, if you're going to keep referencing the turian platoon mission, might as well use the conviently made video. )))

You missed the theme part. Control is like trying to control the One Ring, and Synthesis is all of Sauron's forces. The Uruk-Hai are literally synthesis.

I'm not sure if you had a hidden meaning behind your post about the control that's like using One Ring. That's why I didn't pick Control because it doesn't matter if YOU are the controller of all Reapers, it will eventually turn (corrupt) you into a true reaper and then the cycle will once again begin.

. But would Harbinger still be capable of doing things the way Leviathans would?  They did get melted down and blended in order to make Harbinger.

Well, Levy said that indoctrination is "perfected" enthrallment, so I'll go with yes. Times 10.

If it really were perfected we wouldn't have this discussion as there should be no way to escape indoctrination. Improved, sure, you can clearly tell the difference between the Leviathans thralls and Grayson for example. But the one thing what we're missing is how it was improved. It's obvious that the Leviathans thralls are just controlled. The Reapers really make their victims believe what the Reapers say is true, just look at Kahlee. This is in my opinion what the Leviathan was talking about.
For the derelict Reaper we can reasonably assume from the cut content that the Reaper itself is intact but doesn't receive any instructions anymore so all indoctrinating stuff could still work at 100%. (Like a disabled person who can't control their limbs because of the connection to the brain is damaged)

Ya Saren was more of out for himself. Even though he said he was doing this for everyone, it was more " I am doing this because I will live if I side with the Reapers"

Thats the feeling I got.  TIM did strike me as dedicated to humanity, buti think he lost touch with humanity and that's what caused him to spiral downwards

Banshee is not, Doomsday is, by Jade's standards.

Might I ask what those standards are and why that would apply to me?

I have never, ever called anyone who doesn't believe in IT an idiot or anything like it.

How am I a zealot?

I am personally convinced that IT is true, yes. I have never said it is fact.

I'm always trying to decide between Miri and Liara, it's terrible. It doesn't help that my four ideal LIs aren't romanceable Posted Image

What if we build another Crucible after Synthesis and do it again? What if we throw the Carnifex in this time?

Shepard should have totally thown the carnifex into the beam!!!

I honestly never once understood the appeal of Miranda. I'm not really a fan of buckteeth or the uncanny valley.

Who are the four? I'm assuming Kasumi is one.

Hehe, no worries, I bookmarked your video and used it to type up the dialogue. I think I just linked to it. The typed-up dialogue, that is.

I don't think you explored the neutral info option, so I added that in by taking pictures on my own playthrough. :D

As much as I hated Cerberus I never doubted that they had humanity's best interests at heart. They just had little to no moral compunctions about anything as long as it would advance humanity's interests. That was always my impression.
