Except, unlike Saren, TIM didnt kill himself because he thought siding with the Reapers was wrong. He did it because you convinced him he has weakened humanity.

"I tried, Shepard"

Ya Saren was more of out for himself. Even though he said he was doing this for everyone, it was more " I am doing this because I will live if I side with the Reapers"

Thats the feeling I got.  TIM did strike me as dedicated to humanity, buti think he lost touch with humanity and that's what caused him to spiral downwards

Ya and TIM having a proto Reaper in his base. Not good. He hanged out a
lot with the Reaper because there are like hundreds of his cigarets
around the Proto Reaper, and I don't think anyone else smokes since most
of his people have mask on/ implanted Reaper tech in them.

Tolkien's orcs themselves were said to have been a hybrid of corrupted elves and men...making the Uruk-Hai like...triple or quadruple Hybrids.

And it was something that Tolkien agonized over, the idea of an unsavable form of life.  As a devout Catholic it greatly bothered him.

He did say orc-women were around...at least they had sex? Dirty, rough orc sex

. That was the issue with his idea of a hybrid between man and Orc.  The Uruk-Hi.  He had no idea how genetics worked.

As much as I hated Cerberus I never doubted that they had humanity's best interests at heart. They just had little to no moral compunctions about anything as long as it would advance humanity's interests. That was always my impression.

Anderson's description of Saren springs to mind.  He gets the job done, but he does it In The most brutal way imaginable.

Hey steel clan what group do you usually
hang out? Last time I asked you why you where here a month back you said your group is not present at the moment.

The Miranda Discussion Thread was my home thread.........,

Now I mostly just go to the newest ending discussion/character discussion thread.

And the Miranda Discussion Group.

Ah okay. Also forgive me for  my rudeness, but what made you want to come to the IT thread? just courses.

. Because IT has always intrigued me.  Also it is consistently active.  Other threads usually die.

Very true.

Other threads are measured in days and weeks They wither and die. We are eternal, the pinnacle of evolution and existence. Before us, they are nothing. Their extinction is inevitable. We are the end of everything.

. But would Harbinger still be capable of doing things the way Leviathans would?  They did get melted down and blended in order to make Harbinger.

Well, Levy said that indoctrination is "perfected" enthrallment, so I'll go with yes. Times 10.

If it really were perfected we wouldn't have this discussion as there should be no way to escape indoctrination. Improved, sure, you can clearly tell the difference between the Leviathans thralls and Grayson for example. But the one thing what we're missing is how it was improved. It's obvious that the Leviathans thralls are just controlled. The Reapers really make their victims believe what the Reapers say is true, just look at Kahlee. This is in my opinion what the Leviathan was talking about.
For the derelict Reaper we can reasonably assume from the cut content that the Reaper itself is intact but doesn't receive any instructions anymore so all indoctrinating stuff could still work at 100%. (Like a disabled person who can't control their limbs because of the connection to the brain is damaged)

That's moot. You're arguing semantics. Of course it's not perfect but that's why we're here. It's not perfect.

The Reapers make their victim truly believe, like we are led to believe the ending sequence is real...and many still do! Like you said the other day, you can't use cut content as evidence. Either way, it might still be working, but it wouldn't have the drive that Harbinger does to indoctrinate Shepard.

Joker: Shepard what do you want us to do save the council, or not?

Shepard picks refuse.

Shepard:
No Joker we will fight the Reapers once they come into the system.
Order all fleet to be ready for the Reapers once they come.

Joker: But Shepard.

Shepard:
Joker I can't let the Alliance fleet die to save the council, nor can I
let the council die, along with the Turian fleets.

*Reapers enter the solar system.

10 minutes later congratulation's Shepard has killed everyone in the
galaxy buy more dlc to build the legend further, or pick one of the
choices that does not involve refuse.

Banshee is not, Doomsday is, by Jade's standards.

Might I ask what those standards are and why that would apply to me?

I have never, ever called anyone who doesn't believe in IT an idiot or anything like it.

How am I a zealot?

I am personally convinced that IT is true, yes. I have never said it is fact.

That Posted Image

I don't think anyone's a zealot, as not one is saying IT is confirmed, as it's not.

No, I went with Liara but it was a close decision between her and none.  None of the LIs interested me that much.  Garrus and Kasumi are my favorite characters but even if you could romance Kasumi I'd still prefer her as a friend(or friend with benefits) rather than a pairing that's in love.

Speaking of airlocks, you know what would be fun?  Being able to bring Javik on that mission with the indoctrinated hanar who's helping the Reapers to serve the "enkindlers."  They'd be cleaning jellyfish off the presidium for weeks.

Meg, that's exactly why I put quotes there. That's how they said it. It's obvious it's only improved, but the Leviathans are as arrogant as the reapers. You don't need to nitpick everything,

Who are the four? I'm assuming Kasumi is one.

Kasumi, Samara, Samantha, and Shiala, in that order.

Vs,Shep still got screwed for LI's in ME3.  Thane dies and is never mentioned again, Kaidan could be dead, Jacob cheats, Garrus had to be romanced in ME2
