No you didn't. Everyone is more similar, thus genetic diversity is lowered because we're all changed in the same way.

Again there is nothing subtracted.

But there is added. And you don't know nothing is subtracted because we don't see how it affects the mind. We know it affects the mind as there is no conflict. Meaning perhaps the violent-parts of the brain are subtracted? You can't speak in definites when you don't know the complete science of it.

Stuff is definitely added though, and genetic diversity is lowered.

If we look at wikipedia (and we can, as you said many times this isn't an academic paper) the definition is

Genetic diversity, the level of biodiversity, refers to the total number of genetic characteristics in the genetic makeup of a species.

Which is in your example equal, (or increased by 1 actually).

And as I also said, we can't know how many mental characteristics are altered because you don't know the whole science of it. Maximised knows what he's talking about...

...You're not right and neither am I until we know the exact biological figures. So just stop.

Genetics has nothing to do with the mental state.

THE BRAIN CONTAINS GENES. SYNTHESIS ALTERS THE MIND (THEREFORE THE BRAIN) WHICH AFFECTS THE GENETIC DIVERSITY.

You show zero knowledge of biology and caps doesn't help, but hey, no asteriks this time, that's something.

You show ignorance. Genes affect the brain, obviously. If synthesis affects the mind, which it does, it must alter genes that affect the brain, or override them with tech. Affecting genetic diversity and variability.

Another blank "nope" from you there.

As I've said a few times now...neither are correct until we know the exact details...so by continuing the argument from now on it is trolling.

So every time you experience something your DNA gets rewritten? Strong. Which species do you hail from?

You dont need any knowledge of biology to talk about synthesis. Magic can do whatever it wants, biology be damned.

Every time you experience something is there a giant green wave altering your DNA?

The Catalyst tells you it's a "New DNA" so what exactly are you arguing?

I'm human, you?

well, mental disorders are most commonly thought to be caused by genetics.

Emotions caused by receptors affected by genetics..

Scientific papers also declaring genetics greatly affect emotions and also that emotions can affect genes, interesting.

New DNA?  what about genes? do you have any idea how complex the human genome is?  then some retarded hologram tells you they are going to mess around with all dna?  any idea how catastrophic that would be? tampering with microbiology - hey but you'll glow green.   now apply that to every species in mass effect 3.  Universal armagedon would be a blessing.

Today is Chris' final day of vacation. Next week some threads are gonna get their arse kicked. This one probably too.

So enjoy these final moments with such an astronomical page number, instead of arguing ridiculously over definitions.

For example, what do you guys thing about that deleted entry on Keith Szarabajka's wiki page about him returning to ME3 as Harbinger in a supposed "Return to the Citadel" DLC?

Oh I know, but Megumi was stating that it has nothing to with someone's mental state. We used your post because it was easier to respond to.

You tell everyone not to take everything literally then using the DNA example (may I remind you Quarians and Turians don't have a DNA but DAA?) which is obviously a simplistic example in case you can't get what it means by "framework" literally?
And in the EC the extended explanation given is:
"The energy of the crucible released in this way will alter the matrix of all organic life in the galaxy."
There is nothing about DNA because it was just an example.

I'm that which you know as Reapers.

You said "Mental state is not affected by genes" when we've proven it is!

Emotions are affected by genes, which affect mental state as well.

Nope, the point was "Does synthesis lower genetic diversity?" to which the answer is clearly: No.

Not to take everything literally? Then you proceed to take what I said exactly literally? Arguing semantics again! The point is we are told the framework (matrix) will be changed. That is altering it. Why aren't genetics affected there then?

Do you need wording 100% correct before answering something or do you then pick out individual words to start a new argument about until you're arguing about something totally unrelated?

YOU'RE IGNORING EVERYTHING.

You can't know if the genetic diversity is lowered until we know the specific genetic details of the synthesis victims!

It's not CLEARLY at all you arrogant little girl.

Synthesis is disgusting
