Ok, the next quastion.

Let's make a thought experiment.
Let's say Shepard pickes control, Becomes the mind of the reaper made out of all the humans and the current cycle get's wiped out.

Is Shepard the Reaper in Control is the same person as Shepard?

no, the player will never control reapershep, and shepard is the player

Indeed. But what matters more will Reaper Shepard still have all of the Shepard's memories? Will he care about them? Will he have any of the Shepard's morals and qualities?

About the memories and morals I suggest you look at the Borg. They have the memories and morals but it is all repressed via the assimilation process almost to the point where you can't get them back. You become part of the hive mind (though do reapers think in a hive mind?).
In other words when the husk goes blaaaarghghgh he means just that

so I had been wondering, why did Spotlessvoid and Estebanus leave? I assumed his sister was still on at the time, so did they both leave, or did just one of them?

"This unusual advance could lead to new engines that could technically be more than 100 percent efficient"

"Another odd consequence of negative temperatures has to do with entropy, which is a measure of how disorderly a system is. When objects with positive temperature release energy, they increase the entropy of things around them, making them behave more chaotically. However, when objects with negative temperatures release energy, they can actually absorb entropy."

Pretty interesting stuff.

Edit:Rif, 24 hours(honestly I thought what he said was fairly mild)

scientific side note: German scientists in Munich and Garching created a gas with negative Kelvin temperature by reversing the Boltzmann distribution

if I read that right that means absolute 0 is not absolute?  Isn't 0 Kelvin absolute 0?

Its pretty much pot luck on who gets a temp ban around here, in no small part in due to the sheer amount of nastiness people say.  The forums would be rather empty if everyone got banned!

Still not as bad as the WoW forums.  They'd be completely empty.

Not anymore.

Edit:  Clarification:  0 Kelvin is regarded as absolute zero.  The whole concept of absolute zero just got destroyed.

Damn you CT, now i cant stop playing the avengers game

I'm sorry man, it's so addictive :P

I'm saving up for Spidey and of course Deadpool. I need 235 CP and I've got 91...long way to go yet

yep only got 4CP
Is there any other way to get SP aside from facebook friends?

If you start again on Playdom, you get assigned a team from which you can add all of them as allies and they are the equivalent of "Facebook' friends on there :) you get allies really quickly from which you can get loads of SP :D

Spot went because Revan was posting anime

estebanusister stormed off and left because of the "zealots being mean" or something...when all it was was me saying "Can you stop being so negative?"  Bit weird for an "army major" to do something like that...

Huh, I was trying to read back to find what happened to rif and saw

Javik: Do not waver. Victory is never won without difficult choices

That basically could preclude refuse as a possible true ending

More likely Destroy.  Though sacrificing the few for the many isn't a hard choice for some people.

Or reinforce refuse if destroy doesn't involve sacrifice.

Although, we're supposed to think we're going to die from Destroy. Looking with foresight there's hardly a sacrifice if the Geth aren't around, but in the moment you can choose to sacrifice yourself and EDI for the lives of everyone else. A big sacrifice, your own life, when you have other choices.

Well, it's not like it has been a mathematical impossibility and came unexpected...I'd rather say the name became ambiguous.

I always got the impression that Shepard would die no matter what he chose. With EDI it depends on Shepard's opinion of it.

Edit:Preclude was fine in terms of word choice, means the same thing.

Just finished another play through of ME1.
Wow. All the talk about indoctrination and its effects seem like a huge setup for later installments in the series. Don't understand how people can't see the possibility of Shepard being indoctrinated.

I loved the part where Kaiden (when walking past the relay statue) comments about hearing a hum that only he hears. Must be the l2 implants making it easier for him to hear the frequency?

I keep wondering if there's anything that Kaiden and Vega have in common that might be an explanation for why they can both hear hums.

its because in 1 we didn't have or understand the concepts and themes until either 2 or 3. All of the concepts are done via in game perspective not to educate the player so we learn right along with Shepard how the universe goes

I was wondering. Do we have any people here who believe the Reapers are actually destroyed in the destroy ending?

I know Davik Kang believes that. It's more Deception Theory, but I was wondering how much support (if any) it has.

Not me. I find the idea silly.
