Well, I see nothing else but destroy being foreshadowed even stronger. Which is a good thing.


I swear everytime a person says that BioWare sucks at writing or ME3 sucks there is a BioWare dev slamming their head against a desk in frustration. This is the reason they keep releasing DLC. To make those who don't understand have a chance at understanding the underlying message. Destroy is the only way to succeed. IT or not. How can people just forget the main theme of the series so quickly in the end? :pinched:

Thought I'd pop in and say I'm still in the IT camp in case people are down about dwindling numbers or anything like that. Just been over in the MP thread learning how to play and then got a few nice guys to help me with my MP game. Funny how that makes it actually FUN for me rather than struggling through it cluelessly.

About the post on how ME2 was supposed to be more literally taken about ethics and point of view, etc. - well that's been present the entire series. It was most notable at the end of 2 given the motley crew and how each of them was so diverse - the only thing they had in common was doing the mission. The end really only had the difference of opinion between shep and Tim. So really it's more about coming to an agreement, all parties decided on their own that the base was horrific and should be destroyed. Crazy Tim was not in that camp and interestingly, he is also a character who bullies and controls and doesn't like people being allowed to choose. He chooses for them. So that detracts a bit from difference of opinion because the team outshines Tim's rant at the end. It also foreshadows the entire construct of ME3, which I never really had considered before though it was put forth at the end of ME1 if you choose anderson.

Hipsterfully: I remember linking these videos back in thread mark II, but it went as good as ignored, apparently I either promoted it insufficiently or people didn't care for Patrick Bateman analysing ME3 for them. I personally enjoyed it.
Still, thanks for linking them. They ARE a good analysis of the game.

What's this about Gamble and Evil Chris saying Leviathan won't change the ending? Just semantics since Indoc is already technically the ending?

Guys.

What if.

1)Omega is the Prothian Crucible.

2)TIM wanted it in order to further his own plans of countering the Reapers.

3)The Illusive Man and Anderson of the current ending are NOT real, but a part of an overlayed indoctrination reality.

4)TIM is part of Omega DLC after Leviathan. (but not a huge part, as the stuff from Cerberus Base still has to happen, even if modified)

Actually, they were originally going to do a completely different mission if you killed the queen. It was cut though, because it was too taxing. Like the player losing control of Shep completely.
