Hello everyone. Am i the only one, who thinks that Stargezer's forest is the same forest that Shepard sees in the dreams?

Yes, the dream forest is meant to be a london park.

How can you tell? I've been to london - london parks are nothing like that.  Which one do you have in mind?

Or they can reinact inception - and run on the walls. ))) Actually that would make some cool gameplay - fighting through the cidated wards when they open up - slow gravity shift.

When there's a Citadel-defending DLC and this 180° opening actually happens, that HAS TO BE in the game :o

edit: hey commader *salutes*

Absolutely! That is, of course, if they didn't get rid of the purpose for rotation and 'just' figured out how to simulate gravity...just like indoctrination shields were figured out for Sovereign's wreckage parts.

But other than that, yeah. At least the cab drivers should have a hell of a nice outlook for a few moments.

LOL I never thought of that Posted Image

And given that those arms are ~45km long, and how fast they do that...

Someone should do the math, but that's got to be at least 5-10km per second at the tips. The ground is falling away at at least 5-10km per second. Lack of gravity is the least of their problems, if there was nothing above you, you're floating in space almost instantly, if there is something above you, you're smeared goo.

By the way, why do we always assume that it is sthe reapers the ones who closed the arms on the citadel?

Oh right, I forgot. Hm, how about: the winter looks very romantic and bloomy and not at all life threatening, cold and dead in the way a winter is.

i guess because we need it open, although it couldve been the citadel defense force to try and stop the reapers gaining entry

It could have been TIM, like how Saren did it to protect Sovereign. But the issue is *where* the Crucible docks. If you watch the cutscene of where it connects, it is the underside of the Citadel tower, although it flies into the Citadel's arms like Sovereign did. Then again, there IS that retractable dome that covers most of that end and you still need to be retracted to make it dock.

Ok And how about what winter really is? It is a season when everything is put on pause, everything is static and most life hibernates, waiting to be awekaned by the change in conditions?

If it is the same forest as the one in Shepard's dreams  (which is an outumn forest by the way) - then the stargazer's scene basicy means - shepard is trapped inside this dream forest, completly devoid of perpose or even identity, content and happy. The child, who he wanted to save all game - is happy and content, and safe, and has infinite possibilities before him. And only in destroy he might have a clue to what is really going on. And the winter suggests, that he is likely to stay there until something changes. Even the child and stargezer are waiting for something.

Actually the back end of the citadel also has those retractable trianlge things - so the crucible docks the correct side. But implications are nice .

I mentioned the retractable triangle things, they close to form a dome around it that is partly open at what looks to be where the Citadel tower is (watch the cutscene of the Reapers heading to Earth and the beam is turned off).

Hmm.  That makes me wonder, why are the Citadel arms closed?  They are closed before even the Crucible shows up.

Is it protecting something inside?  Like the thing the Reapers are building, using all the humans they've rounded up and transported up using the beam?

You mean the outfit, or Shepard's face?

Both, really. I never wore that outfit.

I knew it didn't save the clothes, because I wore the tux on my last playthrough, but I've yet to play with a custom Shepard.

I noticed right away. Blur, look at the pic again, and see how the hair is the same. You can't use that hair in ME2. But it's really minor, so who cares :P

Actually, maybe it's Shepard's "residual self-image"? It's not like the quarians in the archives actually wore suits...

Keep in mind the random Shep VI which was created before ME2 also has Sheps ME3 appearance. It's just because saving the old faces isn't implemented and I would guess it would be quite a bit of work just for two minor things while it's not needed to get the point across.

Equipment from Normandy, huh?

The sound of each transition does sound like a Reaper growls, though highly modified.

Also Legion actually never hides its plans, it says it wants to extract the Geth from the server, not destroy them. It also says "as we remove Geth". Again it isn't hiding anything at all.

Another thing I find interesting is that they even removed the shields for that mission.

I thind it also interesting Legion never comments on what's wrong at the end where its voice gets distorted.

Finally I love the music which plays when you just entered the server, the same that played when you first arrived at the Citadel with slight alterations. Just feels good :3

(btw you should up your resolution ^^)

I just watched my brother play ME3. EDI sais "...moral choices should not be made in a vacuum".

Oddly relevant considering Shepard seems to be in space duing the spacechild scene.

I do not know what your lowest ems was..but i had a playthrough in wich i intentionally messed up every single choice concerning ems..and as far as i remember..only destroy was available (collector base destroyed)

Did the same thing with collector base spared... And as far as i remember only control was an option, why? Because shepard is willing to use enemy tech and tacgics against them? He does not beleive in destroy..or in victory without the enemy's tech. Gather more ems and suddenly destroy also becomes available, why? Because shepard realizes that he managed to gather the whole galaxy behind him..he starts to believe that desttoying them conventionally might be possible

Or it can just be because of the different part which was included.
Low EMS destroy is based on the principle that the energy of the Crucible is uncontrolled and violent, and you add the Reaper core, which is more raw energy. Control is based on the principle of somewhat controlling the energy that is released, and you install the central processor.
It's basically saying you need less energy for control if you refine it enough, but you can't use the energy in this way if you don't have the means to control the energy at all.

Maybe it had been already discussed, but I think that I can hear «SERVE US» while fighting with Collectors in multiplayer. It's the same sound as in Extended Cut, but more faster and higher.
