Not in terms of 'strengths/weaknesses' though, like you did - but rather in what they represent. I can see the Collectors being added as a faction to fight, and single player DLC being added that has 1-3 missions with them (with or without side-missions as well).

The Maruders aren't all that "tech" though are they? Cerberus has deployable turrets and Combat Engineers which improve the performance of machinery around them.

Edit: Oh dear, top of the page and caught off topic... ummm.... so yeah......indoctrination.....speculations....

And you don't know how many rewrites the game has had (both in script and in level design). They could have intended the rachni choice to have more differences, but at some point in development, decided this wasn't feasible.

But there's no proof either way, so whatever.

They could definitely add some SP content with collectors too, yeah.

Really banshee, was it from a Bioware staff member, because I could PM Chris, or any Bioware staff member about what you were saying.

While we are on the subject of old enemies like the Scion. Does anyone know if the Collectors are still around in ME3. I know their base was blown up, but that does not mean they were all obliterated. There must be some out there somewhere.
And second, would you guys like them to return as enemies in ME3?

Yes, I would. Anyway, Firebase Hive (the last colletor ship) is as of now the only leaked material that has not been confirmed. It was leaked with the Earth DLC I believe, and the Earth leak was 100% correct. Also, my favourite reason for Collectors being in MP would be that they are a biotic enemy. That means a few things.
1. We can fight enemies with barriers that aren't super though/use certain powers and ammo types much more effectively.
2. They can use biotics against us which was lacking hardcore in ME3.
3. In MP, certain classes are generally good against certain enemies: Reapers=combat/soldiers, Geth=tech/engineers, Cerberus=all three/everything. That leaves a significant gap.
Collectors=Biotics/Adepts (Fixed the gap Posted Image)

Hmm yeah, good point.

Reapers = Combat
Geth = Tech
Collectors = Biotic
Cerberus = all 3

Sound good? (I know this was already previously said)

I kinda miss the mercs of ME2. Kinda. Sorta. Mostly the batarian death sounds.

Prothians can be added in this single player DLC, which could involve freeing MORE prothians and letting them join the fight. Not many of them, but enough to justify them as a fighting force and more EMS.

I know it sounds crazy to add prothians to the game apart from Javik, but if its a good DLC story, I could maybe, maybe buy it. They won't be the Shepards of their cycle though, like Javik is compared to be.

I see them doing one of 2 things if they add protheans in MP:
1. Canonize it using the BW Word of God. (I wouldn't mind this at all because IMHO having multiple cryo pods intact is less cheesy than just one cryo pod.)
2. Release it as a non-canon MP DLC after the MP/SP tie-ins are complete.

Yeah, I miss the mercs too mostly because they actually used powers against you. Like Incinerate, Warp, and drones.

Even if they were, would they tell their plans to some random guy on the internet?

No, it wasn't from them. Think it was an interview. Doesn't matter, they won't change it anyway. Also, hoping to see the next MP Op.

The fact that the rachni actually returns even when you killed the last rachni queen in ME1 really rubbed me the wrong way.

I killed the queen in ME1 so I wouldn't have to deal with this BS anymore! Now the rachni return regardless of what I did in ME1? That's just super lame. <_<

Agree with point 1 and like point 2. They won't just abandon MP after the storyline is reached, leaving the question of course, which story line it even is: until the assault on London or from there on and beyond into the yet unknown...

well you can look up "the truth dlc" and find where those leaks came from. Interestingly enough, with everything that guy predicted he had to of had some inside source which really makes you wonder if a "the truth" dlc is still coming.

Hey guys, I was reading up on the Miracle at Palaven codex and it mentions the Collectors, I think.

"The Reapers did not understand the seriousness of the threat at first--those that detected the landing crafts sent husks and Collector swarms to intercept them, but little more. This allowed krogan commandos to link up with Palaven's resistance and hand off their payloads--warp bombs and fission weapons."

I don't know if this is saying that Reapers sent Seeker swarms or swarms of Collectors. I hope it means swarms of Collector troops b/c that means BW has the ME3 codex to back them up if they want to add the Collectors back into the game series in ME3.
What do you guys think?

No, the swarms of the "tiny" insects are referred to as Collector swarms.
