Yep. There should be other ships there. Makes sense that the Fleet would jump to the next Relay, and the Normandy clearly is in a system near a Relay. So why are they on an unexplored planet?
...not sure that can be answered in a literal sense.
And I understand why they don't give the Star****'s VA's name. I'm fine with that, its not the actor's fault. He's a kid (we assume!), so he doesn't need public attention regardless.

Just wanted to point out that when Traynor tracks Kai Leng through the relays to Horizon, the holo of the route is 100% accurate. Yet, when the relays explode in the end, they're off!
All the evidence ever points to at least good writing and paying attention with the exception of the ending. Does that really make sense? How could they forget it all there? And where does it start? As far as I can tell, it's the Viper Nebula - Arrival! Where Shepard's indoctrination started! Even without that, it's clear it didn't start in the Local Cluster.
Whenever I see this part of the ending...I look at the galaxy and am reminded of how small we all are...

Good freaking question. Speaking of deception, didn't the kid say the reapers first noted the Crucible "several cycles ago"?
He also said he thought it had been wiped out Cycles ago, and they thought it was gone.
You know, ignoring that the Protheans - the cycle beforehand - had completed the Crucible. And ignoring that the Reapers knew everything about them, and had them completely infilitrated, and that the Crucible project had been sabotaged by indoctrinated agents.
That lying little ****. He was responsible for ruining it the time before, and now claims ignorance?
"The Crucible is not of prothean design. It is the work of countless galactic cycles stretching back millions of years. Each cycle adds to it, each improves upon it."
Oh, and remember all the other stuff we thought was prothean?
Shepard: The reapers built the relays. It's all part of the same trap."
It's the only thing that makes sense... it magically appears when the cycle actually poses a real threat. It's too easy to build and improve. And despite both the Reapers and Cerberus appearing every place Shepard goes or interferes in everything Shepard does... they suddenly have no clue about the Crucible to let it be built in complete peace?
Then the fact it docks with no problems and sits docked for quite some time while you hash it out with the kid.... it has to be a bloody trap. Otherwise that is really really sloppy writing.

Because the sheer size of the Universe means there must be millions of civilisations out there, somewhere, somewhen (time and space are strange things), getting along just fine by themselves.
I love the idea that we'll never know everything, or even see everything. There will always be more to learn and discover, and more places to dream about.
Its strange, I know. But knowing we're just one tiny spot of blue in a huge Universe (maybe even Multiverse) makes me feel good.
And don't get me wrong, we're important too. We just aren't the only things they are important.

The old shadow broker did not want to help the Reapers, yet he was willing to help the Collectors, which he knew they were onces Prothean, yet have no idea the head leader was Harbinger.
Man look how easy it was to fool the Shadow Broker. Just like the brat is fooling you at the end.

Yarp, totally. Its a brilliant trap too.
Its akin to convincing your enemy to build a giant bomb in their own capital city, then setting it off the moment its finished.
Only better, a hundredfold. A thousandfold. It drains all your enemy's resources, gets them emotionally invested in this thing's success, forces your enemy to build their plans around using it, and finally you get to make use out of it yourself and see your enemy's moral crumble before you as they realise they failed utterly and just got used like suckers.
Brilliant.

Well, it could be that Shepard's just proven he/she is worthless to the Reapers. All that time and effort was wasted, and they are left with the realisation he/she just need to be killed now. They are disappointed and annoyed - so they end Shepard quickly.
Even in Destroy, with Shep resisting them and fighting back, Shep still has the drive and conviction they are seeking. He/she are still of use to them, but they just need to find another way to obtain Shepard.
"We will find another way."

Once decoded the design is surprisingly easy to use. It's not prothean-specific. (Paraphrased)
Easy to use without understanding it? Bloody screams reaper-tech to me.

If there are others like me left, they are far far away.
I chose to Destroy the Reapers, and I am still here. I am still myself.

I'm sure that you know my feelings about refuse, it might surprise you that I see it resulting in exactly what you just said though. In my headcanon they're ticked because he's worthless to them but only because he's proven to be literally impossible to indoctrinate, so they immediately kill him.

He also gets angry if Destroy is your only option. His dialogue changes a lot to reflect it too. It starts with 'Why are you here?' instead of 'Wake up'Kabraxal wrote...
You know... it's also quite interesting that the kid only reacts badly when you refuse. You can choose destroy and he just willing watches you walk up, shoot a cylinder that will literally blow up in your face, and "fade" away quietly. However, you dare say "This is fishy... I don't believe you! I will fight!" and not choose any of the three options HE GIVES YOU... he gets angry.
