TurboJ was suggesting I add people on skype for platinum matches anyway - that could work as a stopgap solution too whilst waiting for origin to come back.

EDIT: Anyway, I found this site where you can live chat. Just change your nick to the one of BSN or Origin before writing ( pencil like button ), so we know who are we talking to. No login needed.

A lot of people who finished the game followed by throwing their controller at their TV or putting a new hole in their bedroom wall may not have taken the time to examine why it is the way it is. Society needs quick answers because they are obsessed with going faster. They don't want long winded explanations about why things happened the way they did. They want a simple explanation.

A lot of people here as well as other places have taken the time to do the hard work for those who choose not to. Pretty much come to the conclusion that this was planned,  if people actually paid attention that is. However, some who play Mass Effect think it's some kind of mindless entertainment, and that's not quite what Mass Effect is. A lot of people might be playing the wrong kind of game.

Mass Effect is a game which makes you think on your feet. It's not a mindless action shooter/RPG hybrid for the masses. It's a niche game I guess you could say.

Haha! Stop kidding yourself. BioWare so obviously tried to appeal to the masses with Mass Effect 3 that it's not even funny. Lots of stunts, lots of action, lots of empty marketing shout-outs. Lots of empty promises, all to appeal to as many folks as possible.

Mass Effect was never "deep", not even ME1. It always was a action-packed space-opera blockbuster game, not some kind of deep H.P. Lovecraft story. No, not at all.

If silly marketing shouts like "Mass Effect 3 is the best place to start your Mass Effect story" doesn't convince you that Mass Effect 3 is just an overhyped action-shooter game, than nothing will.


Mass Effect doesn't make me think either. If took me 5 seconds to figure out that the upper-right dialogue options would lead to good outcomes and the upper-left dialogue options lead to the best epic-winning outcomes. Better avoid the lower-left and lower-right options unless you want to be a dick who'll eventually get punished for being a dick.
Oh, and don't trust the morally ambigious people, they're going to be moustache-twirling badguys who will stab you in the back!
No, instead, always follow your goodie-two-shoes Paragon instinct and you'll do just fine. Even when the Paragon option seems ridiculous, don't worry, you'll still do just fine, BioWare wouldn't dare punishing you for being a good boy.
By the way, talking toasters are your friends, don't you ever forget that! If they shoot at you it's just because they're being manipulated by the evil badguys, not because talking toasters are dangerous. Talking toasters are good and you shall feel sympathy for them whether you like it or not! 


You know, Mass Effect games don't let you draw your own conclusions, what you as the player think doesn't matter, what matters is what the writers at BioWare think. They have a vision, an ideology and a set of moral values. Those moral values are forced on you as the player and you either agree with them and win or you'll disagree with them and lose. Not that losing in this game means anything other than just losing a few EMS points, so much for choice and consequences...


You want to play a deep game that truly makes you think? Do you want to play a game that truly is a niche game? Try out The Witcher (2).

I will say this megum the Truians inside the cave looked like they had Reaper tech inside them.

Also is it me, or in the beggining of part two of the comic, TIm is hearing Reaper vocies inside his head, and the last plaent he sees, is like the same planet Shepard sees in the Prothean visions?

Yes they have Reaper tech, it doesn't just look like it.
Yes it's a Reaper talking to him.
Yes the planet has the same style as Ilos in the vision. (one of the reasons I still believe the Beacons are at least modified by the Reapers)

I like how Sarens brother thought that hecan Control them BS, the Reapers were, and this also helps with the thing I was saying about Cerberus in ME3. Even though they had their mind in it, you can't control the people that are being Control by a nother force ( The Reapers) So this makes TIm wanting to Control the Reapers prove that he is mad of BS.
