Otter it's evertone that makes IT work, not just us. Everyone here, weather they are lukers, or posters are helping IT. It's not just me and the people you meantion, but all of us. We are a family, a commuinty, and we are united. So don't think like it's just us, hell it's everyone that makes IT a reality in ME3. That goes to any poster, and lucker that is thinking this way.

Masster, I have to give you credit.  You always go out of your way to make sure that everyone, commentator or lurker, is given credit for IT's vitality.  I really respect that.  Kudos to you bud Posted Image

Keeping such a collective perspective is not always easy

You don't even know how much I am dying to play MP right now. I feel like the beserker in Gears of War wanting to get free of it's chains. I just have to wait a couple more weeks before I can go all crazy on the reapers and show all of ya what I can do. (Well not immediately....I sorta got to get back my edge in MP before I could do that....plus I have to get the Earth DLC and the new N7 characters....plus practice with those characters....) Hopefully soon however...

I had Tali, stop the frame from being put up. To me all of that was in his mind, it makes perfect sense that way.

So it seems. Darn. 0 for 2. I am off my game I say. Curses. :pinched: At least now we know that (I don't know who, I think Banshee) was right in saying that there would be an extention of the Reject choice. Still have yet to see if there will be a high ems result for Reject however...

What amuses me the most is that the boy can be a Reaper projection from the very beginning without upsetting a literalist interpretation of the endings at all, yet I've yet to converse with a literalist who doesn't think the kid is real in the beginning.

I also should point this out: some of our choices mattered...  just not the ones that should have, like keeping or destroying the Collector Base or carefully retaining your Spectre status.  Keeping the Collector Base yields Cerberus a Reaper Brain yet they were never able to find a way to subvert its design?  Bah.  Keeping the Collector Base should have made a Cerberus Control ending possible.

I should probably go to bed. Sorry if I've been annoying you too much. That wasn't my intention.

Goodnight.

Night Estebanus see you in 7, or 8 hrs.

Should probably make it 10-12. It's weekend.

See ya Grif.

I think I'm entitled to some well-earned rest. I've almost not been sleeping this week because I had to write craploads of essays about different books I've been reading in the vacation.

College giving you a hard time?

I can handle it. University isn't as hard as you'd think. It's more the quantity of the work that's staggering. And since I like writing incredibly long essays... Yeah, you can imagine how long time it could take.

Essays? Wanna swap?  I'm really struggling with this stuff right now:

http://en.wikipedia..../Potential_flow
http://en.wikipedia....wiki/Quaternion

Quaternions are actually quite easy once you got the hang of them ^^

I hope you're right - using them to look at flow at the end of a helicopter blade. It is just insane.

One transformation from the earth axis to the helicopter body axis.
Then another one to transform to the propeller shaft.
Then another one to transform to the blade itself.
Then doing some fairly easy finite wing theory (despite its complete unsuitability to the problem, **** paper maths, really...) to calculate some upwash angles relative to the blade.....

Then transforming it all back to earth-relative axes.

And I have to do that under exam conditions next week.
FML.

Essays sound lovely at this point

Edit: SO ABOUT THEM REAPERS (yes this was on topic all along, maybe... maybe the reapers can be killed by just rolling them 90 degrees because the AI programming uses euler rotations and suffers gimble lock)

Oh my god, I just made a thread about a game interpretation nerdier...

You're right. I guess I meant to say that major chooses from 1 and 2 didn't effect 3 in the long run as EA want Mass Effect 3 to be a perfect starting point (yeah why did EA do that is beyond my scope of thinking, that is what Mass Effect 2 was for).

Still just Emi, not sure if I'm emotionally stable enough to take another existential crisis/another painful reminder of how incredibly lonely I feel/ just the fact that Emi, being exactly the sort of person I consider an ideal not being the person I chose is a weird concept to me.

Yeah, I can't really vary the way I play through games when I've done it at least once. I've never figured out why. It's why every time I play Baldur's Gate, it's always with a Human Male Paladin named Abdel, who fights against the Bhaal essence, romances Aeire, and chooses to remain mortal at the end. >.>

Yeah.

For the first part, I get that. Too many feels can make a person crazy. ;) Plus, Emi is  pretty awesome.

I also kind of agree with the second part.

I've done 30+ playthroughs of ME1 and ME2, and like 90% of them have the exact same choices with the exact same Shepard.

I like to give eveyone credit TheConstentOne because with out the Luckers we would not have an IT thread, since they are the one's that wish for us to prove that IT is right, and they point us in the right direction, when we are loosing faith, and they are there when we are fighting against each other.

And the posters are the ones that give us, and the others something to speculate about, and they posters that Otter didn't meantion, are the ones creating the Videos for IT, and supporting IT through every thing they can find through almost anything that supports IT, and prove that ME3 is not bad writing.

And to you and Otter, you have given us lot's of speculations to speculate about. Never doubt that it's just me, or the people Otter meantion. We are a commuinity that listence to one another, and to be honest we are like a family now.

It's the truth. With out ME3 not giving us an "Ending" well it brought us all together, and let's be honest non of us would have gotten to know one another, and become friends. So I don't know weather that if this was suppos to happen, but we are here now, and we have each other, weather IT, will ever be proven right, or wrong.

Liara was my romance so she put mine up.  I saw the Ashley one on youtube and her facial expression was a little more...pronounced than Liara's seemed to be.  At least in my opinion.

It would makes sense for that last scene to be contrived by Shepard's mind.  After all, it's only reasonable to expect one to think that their loved ones and close friends would be there to mourn their death

True, lurkers pop on now and again to give us direction with pointed questions.  They are sometimes responsible for guiding us towards fascinating speculation

I have done every playthrough exactly the same for every ME game, all the time playing the same Shepard over and over.

I recently made my first renegade broshep for ME1 (always play paragon femshep). I'm liking it so far... although I much prefer Jennifer Hale for the voice.

I didn't get to see the variation of the Destory ending, but I got to see the other three endings. To me none of the endings seem right, each one of them feels off within the context of the game. Also the star gazer sense just reconts all the endings into it was a 1001 arabian nights tale.

Exactly my point.  It didn't matter.  If there had been a trial, Spectre status could have given us cover.

Ah.  I have a dangling modifier in grammar-speak.  I didn't mean that keeping your Spectre status was a choice that shouldn't have mattered but did.  I meant the opposite of that.
