Take that Banshee and estebanus!!! YEAH!!! :P

EDIT - On what I was going to really post, why is Shepard so sad that Thessia fell? Sure it was a loss on the temple but Thessia was to fall anyway. Getting the VI wasn't going to change that.

Just done Utukku again. I feel that the "oily shadows" referred to in ME1 are different to the "sour note of the machines" and thus I feel the oily shadows (indoctrination) to be the same oily shadows we see in the dreams.

I figured if you had anything of mine in there it'd be my post making fun of how everyone except the kid at the beginning needs Shepard's help.

Thats probably my favorite of my posts.

Making fun of that kid is always fun.

"It is a DLC specific new Citadel area."

So, you can visit it more than once (source: Gamble) but it's not necessarily a hub.
I hope it's more than just like one of the rooms you visit Miranda in. :?

In a vid he actually called it a hub area. Contradictory much?

We'll just have to see.

I know, I'm a noob, but could someone explain the difference between hub and more than one visit? They sound the same to me.. Anyway, I hope we'll get the convo with Admiral Xen from the November leak. It's too awesome. :D

No!!! Anyway, the whole Thessia thing is way out of character and pissed me off. Your also right about how getting the VI wouldn't change anything. Anyway, I should go.

I know I posted it a long time ago. I think Hellish reposted it once, because he liked it. You may have missed both of those, or you may not have liked it:

Wrex - 1000+ year old super badass krogan: Needs Shepard's help

Rachni Queen - Giant freakin bug that can produce thousands of mindless workers: Needs Shepard's help

Quarian Migrant Fleet - 50,000 ships, housing 17 million quarians: Needs Shepard's help

Geth
Consensus - countless millions of geth, including extremely durable
combat platforms and tons of ships: Needs Shepard's help

Turian Hierarchy - Strongest military in the galaxy: Needs Shepard's help

Catalyst - LEADER OF THE FREAKIN REAPERS - Needs Shepard's help

8 year old boy - 8 year old boy: Doesnt need Shepard's help

A hub is an area that may have some stores and usually has characters there to talk to, like Tuchanka or Illium.

The sour note could easily refer to the infrasonic noise the Reapers use.

I'll be back later; now that I've finished the Suicide Mission, I can go do LotSB again.

This screenshot captures my feelings at the moment quite well (bonus points for knowing when it's from).

From telling TIM to ****** off, right?

You beat me to it. I think it's very important that at the end of both ME1 and ME2 Shepard grins! Seriously adds to the "mission accomplished" feeling at the end of each game! That's one of the reasons ME3 can't be over yet! Shepard needs to climb out of the rubble grinning!

Both correct. One of my favorite moments.

I'm back already b/c I have to update my video card software. Funny story: I try playing ME2 and it crashes. Then a window pops up telling me I need to update my AMD CATALYST software. I had a good laugh.

That goddamn Starbrat won't even let me enjoy ME2 now.

A hub is also an area that doesn't involve combat and is generally a place you can go whenever you want as many times as you want. All or most of the Citadel we have in ME3 already is a hub.

It doesn't understand your poor choice in graphics cards and eliminated the thread by preserving the driver in Reaper form.

Soo, it should be a new floor of the Citadel. But also, if he says that "It is a DLC specific new Citadel area." , maybe we'll get something on the lines of Liara apartament? and the Illium part of Liar of The Shadow Broker? Not sure if we can trust what BW  says, tho.

EDIT: just read TJ reply.

Yes like Liara's apartment, but you can revisit it. Or at least it was said you could.

Don't you meat the woman, how's father died by the hands of Leviathan on the Citade;?
i could have sworren that when Shepard says " Leviathan", you can see a door that looks like on of the Citadel apartments.

Yet we could get both  new area, and the Womans apartment.

I figured it was because when the plot-armored gunship beat Shepard and Kai Leng took the VI, there went Shepard's best chance (at the moment) of stopping Cerberus. And Shepard got the asari lieutenant to stay for the sole purpose of helping Shepard and company get to the temple, so those asari died but Shepard didn't accomplish his/her mission.

I think it's a combination of being sad that Thessia fell/being really ticked at Cerberus/being really ticked at himself or herself for failing a mission.

And apparently the "That was for Thane" bit of the Kai Leng stabbage gets replaced with "No gunship now" if Kirrahe/Thane/Miranda doesn't apply. I must find this on YouTube.

I may be one of the few who actually liked this scene. To me it felt like the first time i had really *lost* in a situation. (Keep in mind this is all before i realized the VI was kinda pointless).

Oh yes. Our resident troll that loves to pop in every once and a while. I know him....his logic could be improved but other than that he really is just a minor annoyance.
