I agree. Hanar's bad writing argument is such a cop out.

New RvB episode was pretty great.

Plus it confirmed a theory I'd always had, so thats nice too.

I hate it that sponsers get to see the stuff before us normal people. It makes sense, I understand it and is a great way to get money for AH cause they don't get paid for what they do but I still hate it. What theory did you have Byne? Also could you fill me in on the story for the last 5 seasons? Just a quick summary. (From seeing what's there so far in season 10 I get a lot of what's going on.) I think I stopped at the middle of season 4 or 5 (it was where Tucker just had the alien baby I believe, Tex's AI was still there, and Tex was there as well) and just skipped to season 10.

TJ you missed out on Cabbose. How can you just skip Caboose.

You missed the church my best friend and Grif, and Simons, oh and Sarge.

Also Tucker, and Wash. Or and Lopez,Donut, and Doc, and Tex.

I'd say just watch all the seasons you've missed. Seasons 1-8 are on youtube. I'm bad at explaining things.

Also, my theory being confirmed kind of spoils the new episode, so I'd rather not explain till it actually comes out for non members.

I read on a different site where someone who was digging through the EC files said the EC added a lot of new dead squadmate whispers in the nightmares. Anybody noticed a difference?

Where do you find those files to dig through them? Program Files?

Edit: Here's the link to that site.

I still don't understand how "it was all a dream!" story telling is so appealing to so many people.

Aby ways is it weird that Anderson did not run with Shepard, and so did Coats.

Coats was with us when Harbinger came, and yet Anderson, nor Coats, ran along side Shepard.

Also was it me or did once Shepard saw/ said Harbingers name, Shepard looked like he seen a ghoset. I know that " Well if you saw a Reaper in front of you you will be afride, but Shepard this time looks like he seen a night mer from his/her dreams.

Also if Coats said that " My god there're all gone."

Well shouldn't Harbinger kill Coats while they are in disaray, and why doesn't Coats see Anderson moving tword Shepard, since he followed Shepard up. Which I still find hard to believe. If I were Anderson I would have called Hammer, or Coats to keep moving foward, but nothing but Anderson saying " Shepard."

And I like that Shepard once Shepard is face to face with Harbinger, all troops are gone.

Call it bad writing or IT take your pick.

I choose IT.

They aren't with many, my hanar brother. They're just a very few hardcore stubborn believers.

I've got to give it to them. I admire their dedication to their theory.

Its less a dream and more of a hallucination brought on by an attempt at indoctrination.

But if you want to characterize it as just being us saying it was all a wacky dream, I suppose I cant stop you.

I mean, it's an impressive theory. It just seems so strange that there are people still holding on.

I'm not sure if that's true dedication or if they're crazier than me.

Un fu**ing believeable.

I am not going into this. I will be back in a while, and Thane don't start anything, or Arian, or anyone else. I know byne won't, but no.

I guess it's a bit of both The Mad One. I guess it's a bit of both.

Oh and Byne, what's the difference between "all just a dream" and "all just an hallucination"? Isn't that effectively the same thing?

Generally a hallucination happens when one is awake, and seems very real, whereas a dream is when you're sleeping, and may or may not seem real.

Like I said earlier, I'm not exactly great at explaining things.

I could just copy/paste from wikipedia, but I'm sure if you wanted to read stuff from wikipedia, you'd read wikipedia.

Hallucinations occur when you are awake, dreams occur when you are asleep.

But from a storytelling perspective hallucinations and dreams are pretty similar. Hanar has it right.

Well I know the difference between a dream and a hallicunation, that's not my point. That's not what I asked.

What I asked is: What is the difference between "it was all just a dream" or "it was all just a hallucination"? Aren't both exactly the same thing from a story-writing perspective?

Both do exactly the same thing: Hit the reset button and wave away the ending we have now as something that never really happened.

You'd pick a fight with hanar over anything. Both did not happen. And both are a poor storytelling tool if Bioware uses it this late in the game. That's what Hanar and the Mad guy are saying. And they're right.

I agree,if you are dreaming you are asleep and not moving,in an hallucination you are awake and moving but are  seeing things that are not there, like a mirrage in a desert,if you are dehydrated enough you will halucinate.

Pick fights? I think you got the wrong guy. I have nothing against Hanar. I just wish he'd come up with a more imaginative argument than "Lolz bad writing. Bioware sucks."

How is opinion presented as unquestionable fact valid?
