It doesn't quite, the interupt works too. Basically, you need higher EMS to get the breath scene if TIM kills Anderson, which makes no sense from a literal perspective.pirate1802 wrote...

So towards the end of the last thread, someone was asking why Harbinger ignores the Normandy. My guess is that Harbinger is counting on Shepard becoming indoctrinated. It knows that the Normandy crew is absolutely devoted to Shepard and, if Shepard were stranded somewhere, they would definitely go the extra mile to retrieve him/her. In this way, an indoctrinated Shepard would definitely be retrieved and taken back to the Aliiance command structure, where s/he can be of use to the Reapers

Except Harby lases Shepard. Unless he "set it to stun" I doubt this theory. Sorry.TheConstantOne wrote...

Let's just say he was commited to a chatter with a troll. Details in the original thread. But seeing how Mark II was locked down I'm not sure if this was really the only reason.BansheeOwnage wrote...

Well the new(ish) discovery is that the marines fighting in EC do a lot better in destroy. In control and synthesis they even have the same animations. Destroy gives them more resolve = clue for IT because makes no sense literally.pirate1802 wrote...

Haha you know, that's a very good point. We talk so much about what happens after the beam getting hit, I sometimes get the feeling that Harbinger deliberately tried not to kill Shepard. If that were true though, I doubt he'd use a molten laser as its weapon of choice haha

Considering the fact that you can just wait and let endless numbers of soldiers run and get blasted by pinpoint laser bursts by Harby, the fact that he didnt disentegrate Shep with a pinpoint blast means he pretty much did set it to stun

You're right too Byne. I know I wansn't the only one who noticed that Harby owned everything around Shepard with pinpoint accuracy but repeatedly misses Shep.byne wrote...

Edit: Though I won't count the standing around and letting marines die as evidence for anything though. You're supposed to run down the hill.
