I came across Lupe Fiaco's "The Cool" album and I saw something similar to the illusive man and Shepard's indoctrinated eyes. I don't know if the album art is a reference to some early piece of art, but might have clues. Not a art history major so.....

I never noticed that the promotional art looked so much like Shepard rising out of the rubble.

Pretty much. Actually, I think Leviathan talks about the fact that there are so many things hidden in plain sight; we just need to find them.

As far as I know that is in fact concept art.

 Really, look closely into this picture - what does it looks like is happenning? What is the expression on andersons face? where he seems to looking? what his pose suggests? What's the lighting? 




To me it looks like he's stretching his hand to help someone up. His eyes have the "it's alright, son, i got you" kind of soft expression, the light in the back suggests that it is breaking dawn, although the light on the hand suggests close artificial light source, either a fire or an omnytool. 

The light in the back is the same as the light from the sky in the pick up art, and there are also fires on the ground that could account for the light in the front.

Also he's looking right which is reddish, the left is blue, Anderson doesn't look up like pics of indoctrinated crew I just posted. I love art analysis.

Hmm... It barely even looks like art to me. It looks ingame. Could be wrong though. It is definitely interesting regardless. We should find more.

That's definitely a cinematic, artist impression images have quite the signature which this image is lacking.

I mean his left hand is really his right hand etc. Take the pic and put it in paint, then flip in 180 degrees horizontally.
