But there is audio, of all your ME2 squadies shouting at you, "SHOOT THE TUBES!" You can take or leave the "S" with some of them. Garrus just sound like he's shouting, "SHOOT THE TUBE!" I made a point to replay the end boss fight with every squad member. All of them say it to you. You know...to get you to shoot the tube that supposedly kills the Reaper. Then, it turns out you didn't actually kill the reaper. It gets back up to fight.

Thoughts?

That's interesting. I remember being a little annoyed at that, thinking "YOU shoot the tube--we're all supposed to be fighting here!". LOL. It would be perfect if it aligned with the ending of 3. I definitely think every one of my squadmates would've been shouting the same thing to me on the Citadel when the Catalyst gave me the option to Destroy.

Well did we ever talk about the park that the child was on, is the same one we see in the dreams. I mean to me when we see the park, not there. I think it's weird, that everytime, we get near the kid. Red flash of light hovers over the kid. It reminded me of Saren, when the screen, went red, because Soveregin was trying to gain full Control of Saren.

I didn't notice that. Although, that may be because I'm thinking about my sister a little too much right now, so I guess I'm a little distracted.

On the Collector Base during the suicide mission. I just replayed the ending last week so it's kinda fresh for me. When you're facing the proto-Reaper and it's sort of hanging in mid-air, Edi tells you that the tubes are a weak spot in its structure and if you can destroy the tubes, the proto-reaper will fall. In between attacking waves of reaper forces, you shoot at the tubes to bring it down. Every time you finish a wave, the covers on the tubes open sort of like in the derelect ship when you were destroying something (was it some kind of core?), a shield closes in between waves of attacking husks so you can't just shoot the crap out of it in one go and end everything before fighting all the annoying husks. And, in the suicide mission everytime the tubes open, your squadmates yell at you to shoot the tubes.

And everytime they yelled at me to shoot the tubes I couldn't help thinking, "What? Are both your arms broken or something? Did you go blind recently and can't see where to shoot?" Team effort my ass.

Ah yes, now I remember. Interesting cause when I played ME2 for the first time I thought that making the Proto-Reaper collapse would have destroyed it for good (I certainly did not anticipate it to activate itself afterwards). Now when you think that the ending of ME3 is made out of Shepard's memories, it makes sense why he associates shooting a tube with destroying the Reapers.
