Paxxton! How's it going, my friend? Feeling better?

Better, thanks. Came by to see how the thread's going and it looks like the posts are scarce today. Posted Image

I didn't notice that. Although, that may be because I'm thinking about my sister a little too much right now, so I guess I'm a little distracted.

Is your sister sick too? Say hello to her.

Well, the first post on the last page was made 9 hours ago so it gives 25 posts on the last page + a few on this one in 9 hours. Dunno but seems a bit slo-mo to me. Posted Image

Sick? No. She was shot.

What?! I'm so sorry. Is she alive?

Of course. She was fortunately only shot in the thigh. At least her squad managed to kill that bastard who shot her.
I guess she'll have a souvenir with her next time she's on leave.

Replugging because, well, damn.

Speaking of that bit about "Your leaders will beg to serve us." This fits in exactly into what I was saying earlier that Shepard isn't the only target for indoctrination. You have Anderson, TIM, Victus, Wrex/Wreav and presumably other high-ranking cycle leaders, from all cultural sectors (military, political, academic), all gathered in one place. If the reapers want to pacify or at least decapitate the cycle's command hierarchies, Priority: Earth is the perfect opportunity.

Also, important question: Anderson said the reapers were planning something big in London before Priority: Earth. Can someone pinpoint exactly when this dialogue takes place? Because if it was before Priority: Thessia I think that'd be incontrovertible proof that the reaper's strategy the whole time was to unite-and-subvert and not divide-and-conquer.

Guys have you all scene the Shadow Brokers videos. They are rather interesting. I didn't know so many people died, and did you see the Krogan punch our favorite report. Also I didn't see um her, and the Asari, um make out dam. But did you see Anderson, and udnia videos, what the hell is going on here?

Also what's up with  Keeper 20. Something is not right with that Keeper. Also why did Anderson punch Udina in the gut, and why did udina go to Omega?

Also there are some things that just leave you wandering, what the hell happened?

Ah yes, now I remember. Interesting cause when I played ME2 for the first time I thought that making the Proto-Reaper collapse would have destroyed it for good (I certainly did not anticipate it to activate itself afterwards). Now when you think that the ending of ME3 is made out of Shepard's memories, it makes sense why he associates shooting a tube with destroying the Reapers.

I think we all expected that. To be honest, I thought that the reason it activated and "flew" (because it sure seemed like a seriously long drop to the floor from up there) was purely the obligatory bad-guy-always-gets-back-up-at-the-end-to-have-one-more-go-at-you scene that used to be so popular in movies. But when you compare it to the end of ME3 with the red tube needing to be shot to destroy the reapers, I think it makes more sense that it's an association Shepard's making in his mind--a way for his brain to connect to the concept of destroying them or beating them in this situation.

I mean it's not like he's physically confronting a reaper, even in his mind (i.e., he's not standing directly in front of a physical being going over his options; he's talking to a hologram or projected image of some sort). Even though I spent at least 20 minutes the first time I played trying to shoot the starbrat, I figured it wasn't going to work because the catalyst wasn't presented as a physical being there, just a projection of something plucked from Shepard's mind (or planted there). Which means Shepard had to come up with some "physical" method of taking them down, even in his hallucination, for his brain to acknowledge it as a success.

Don't ask how long I spent just wandering around up there looking for an off switch or plug to pull <_<

Let's hope she gets well soon. Probably she'll have a few months off duty now to cure the leg.

I guess so. She should be home by the end of this month, or so she told me.

Salve! Life is slow. How are you?

Not particularly well. I haven't heard much of my sister since she was shot. I worry about her. I just hope it's not her face that gets hit next time.

Read it yesterday. I hope she'll get well soon, an you, stay strong!
If you still feel down, maybe get some pie! ^_^

Pie's only fun when Banshee's around!

Did someone say something?

Shocking suggestion!

But I believe it is indeed before Thessia. If no one helps, I'll post it as soon as I get it in my current playthrough (just finished Rannoch).

Thanks for linking to my post. I'm trying to stay grounded in the textual evidence and put all those english-major skills to work :P

I also forgot to add in that original post that the first quote is the most easily missed recording and actually requires backtracking through the area the hijacked LOKI mech goes through. While controlling the mech, you can't even see that the console is useable. In short, the designers placed one of the most compelling pieces of evidence supporting IT off the beaten path, as if to highlight its importance.

About the Anderson conversation, I'm actually not sure when that conversation takes place, so I'll keep an eye out for it. I'll be playing SP ME3 again soon, and I'll be collecting more screenshots as I play through.

Ahh I've been saying this for a while :/ Doesn't matter as long as someone does I guess. Anyway, I'm 99% sure it is before Thessia. Also, Max, when you said "post it here" did you mean as a video, a screenshot or just text?

I can also do a link to an existing youtube video. But the first thing to find out is, when that actually happens. ^_^

The thread is slow. I'll take this opportunity to remind everyone that the reapers are in fact attempting to troll all of us. Posted Image
