I will come back after this conversation is over. Back to playing WoW.

You... weren't here to begin with.

I doubt that MB is "all there" anywhere. :P

:pinched: That one was mean!

I was, while playing WoW, and I read the posts, and I thought that this was going to get ugly, but i was wrong.

Also to answer the last debate, about when the Olympus operation, was taking place, in Sp. It's before Shepard, has to go meet the Asari councilor, and find out, about the Catalyst.

Here it is.

Demersel, there are no "uninspired" or "uninteresting" theories. There are theories supported by evidence and theories that are not. We must follow the evidence and craft a theory that cleanly fits each individual piece. A theory crafted around opinion and preconceptions is like a building without supports.

The straightforwardness of a theory is not an argument against its truth.

It is an argument to whether i like or not, and to wether or not i'm interested in discussing it.

Also - presence of the catalyst in mass effect if fact supported by evidence. But everithing about it is uninteresting, and unispired. That is why there was so much uproar and discontent about the endings in the first place.

So don't discuss it then but no need to be rude and call someone else's idea "uninspired". That's your opinion, not fact.  I'm not sure what your point about the Catalyst is, nobody is disputing its existence (except whether it is real or not). We are only trying to make sense of the ending as usual, if that bores you then maybe you should find something more interesting to do with your time.

If you are merely expressing an opinion, then do it in a more polite and respectful manner. Whether or not you agree with him or are fond of his ideas, Arian puts effort and thought into what he writes. Treat others as you would wish to be treated.

We aren't here to try to carve some perfect ending from unworked stone that will appease the fanbase. We are looking at evidence and trying to craft a theory that accounts for all of it. Whether or not the end result pleases people is irrelevant.

I am expressing my opinion in a polite and respectful manner.

"unispired" and "uninteresting" - are perfectly valid adjectives, that in a polite and respectful manner relate my opinion, of the link, that was given to me as final ferdict to the topic - "here read this and learn, our official stance and policy."

What am I supposed to be checking out? The 'whisper' like 10 seconds in? That sounds like Husk/Marauder/Cannibal stuff to me.

Or do you mean the sounds Harbinger makes at the end?

Skyrim never ceases to amaze me. I've been playing the game for over 500 hours, and I still find quests!

EDIT: Also, where's Banshee? I haven't seen him for quite a while!

Never said it was. I did say, however, that you were stating your opinions as fact as if the world revolves around what you and only you think and that is not fair to Arian or anyone else in here. You're free to disagree with other opinions and argue semantics all you like but for all you know Arian felt quite inspired when he wrote what he did. Don't put words into other peoples' mouths.

8-10 sec. Right before soldiers start shooting. Try to speed up that sound.

Well you did say "
Was this theory backed by substantial evidence or like your quip to me on the previous page did it materialise from seemingly no where? "
As you refuse to provide any fact or substantial evidence for Arian's theory, i say that my theory, whatever that might be, is as valid, as Arians in a sense that they are both speculation, and fantasy.
And you are being rude to me personally, initially for replying to one of your post (oh, What a horror!) Also you assume that i'm being rude to Arian personally, which is wrong.

I sped it up, slowed it down, reversed it... nothing remarkable about it, in my ears. Doesn't sound Reaperish at all, to be honest. In any case, nothing like the sounds you linked to.

Still sounds like a Husk or something to me. I think it's there to suggest the soldiers are shooting at Reaper forces, even though you don't really see them on screen. You just see the soldiers shooting.

Why should I have to prove a theory that isn't mine? Are you listening to yourself, you really don't think calling something "uninspired" isn't the least bit rude?

I'm playing ME3 with Banshee atm. Was playing with Blur but he left us ;_;

I'm with Leonia on this, it's pretty rude to call someone's hard work uninspired. You can say you don't like it, but there's being disrespectful.

By your logic why would you take offence for something that isn't yours?
