It's pretty rude to call someone's hard work uninspired. You can say you don't like it, but there's being disrespectful.

Yet I remember you doing exactly the same thing a while back. Hypocrite much?

*sigh* Was that really necessary Hanar? (For those who don't know Hanar or didn't imply already....Heretic_Hanar = )

Yes it was.

No it wasn't.

Doomsday, it's sounds like the Rachni speaking to Shepard. Remember, when the queen used the dead Krogans to speak to Shepard, well it sounds like the dead Krogan being Controld by the queen. So are the Rachni help Shepard/ the player to worn Shepard about the child.

No.
According to description of this video, he killed rachni quenn twice. But that sound still there.

So, if anyone has a playthrough in which the Rachni queen was killed in ME1, please check if you can hear the whisper in the Normandy evacuation scene. If you have a convenient save game, that is.

EDIT: never mind, Ninja'd by LtBehemoth

It definitely sounds like speech. Child is fairly clear. The L in lies is indistinguishable on my head phones, but they suck. Can someone isolate that sound? Pretty hard to believe it's random

I only have the 360 version, so someone with the PC version should check the sound files. Hmmm... not sure if cutscene sounds are isolated or all one cohesive ambient track... problematic.

I heard "the child ies" without an audible "L" though I'm just listening through a telly. Very interesting!

Doomsday, even if it's all one sound file, i think it can still be isolated using some high end software. Gonna pm Hellishfiend see if he can do it

Talking to Kaidan at Huerta Memorial provided a minor clue:
Kaidan: "People near death say their lives flash before their eyes. Well, the future flashed for me."

The future. Really. You don't say.

See, I do sometimes find things to contribute to this thread. ;)

Now unfortunately it'll be burried under the endless stream of posts instead of properly filed away under evidence.  We have got to get organized.

I can do it. Audition is great for that. It's just that I don't have the PC version. And no matter what, isolated sounds are always better. When isolating from ambient, you might filter out frequencies you need or vice versa.

So true. I get by with shamelessly quoting myself and reposting my theories and finds, page after page. xD

I was at the BioWare booth, too. I talked with Chris, and apparently, he likes the IT. He even told me he had a playthrough dedicated to it.

Huh. Well to be honest I've always suspected he liked it. I do wonder what the playthrough part means though.

yeah started fooling around with the sound files trying to see what Harby says during the EC scene. Got no where with that but got me speeding up or slowing down other sounds and found it.

The dream sequence sounds even have lines from previous mass effect games, said by I'm guessing if they are dead squadmates. I was hoping for something better from the dream files but couldn't find anything.

Think I even tried reversing some sounds from reapers and husk speak but didn't find anything.

The most interesting part of this IMO (and I don't think anyone else mentioned it) is that all of the lines are rerecorded for the dreams. That's quite a bit of effort for just some reused lines in a dream. I think this disproves the idea that the dreams are meaningless - like we need to anyway. Posted Image

It means ME3 is meant to be interpretable in more ways than one, and I suspect it will always stay that way.

Yes, I noticed this. They're lines you've heard in the past, but they're delivered very differently, some are really extreme... like crazy whispers.

Yeah, what would he change for an IT playthrough? I mean I know you would pick destroy, or possibly refuse, but other than that I can't think of what you would change ingame. Posted Image
Thoughts anyone?

Well Merizan has said the exact same thing. Perhaps it's something they have been told to say to appease the IT portion of the fan base. But the way Merizan described it, from what I recall, was she played through it keeping an IT interpretation in mind the whole way...

Guys, as you all know, I have a blast analyzing sound and finding things that are cool and creepy, but it isnt a good idea to go into it looking for incontrovertible proof. It's fun, as long as you keep in mind that you arent going to find anything that "proves IT".

You have to send Tali into the vents in ME2 for a proper indoctrination play through
