Right... dramatic are we?

Well bring some whipped cream when you come back. That stawberry pie you brought me yesterday needs a little fluffy white goodness on top.

Aha! An indepth frame-by-frame of the "Hidden" Arrival ending. I keep saying that there are some noteworthy points to be taken from this.

The chinchillas will begin their analysis shortly.

Basic analysis complete:

Observations:

Miniaturized Harbinger and Unknown Reaper on the Citadel; Unknown Reaper has foreign features to Sovereign and Destroyer class vessels; Leviathan?

Anderson stands between the two; Significance unknown; possible Reaper influence?; Further analysis required

Reapers seen approaching through unknown debris/constructs; Debris/Contructs resemble city visible on certain ME2 logos with a large star in the background; Possible Reaper origin?; Possible Connection to ME1 "Reaper in a Planet"?; Speculative

I found the most interesting part of the arrival vision was pointed out by clevernoob, the hunched silhouette hobbling towards a light, like Shep does at London and synthesis.

I was there when he thought that Bioware knew who I was at comic con, I was there when he said that Bioware is watching us, and that multiple people here are Bioware devs, maybe even Byne, I was here when he was talking about combining all anti-IT and IT theories into one mega theory to shock Bioware, and I'm here now.

Yeah, you could say that I was here pretty much every time Blaster went batsh*t crazy.

The should really go in the OP some where, very interesting.

And in case this went unnoticed to the drama of the last page, some random thoughts:

As for IT.. I had a really weird thought last night about Liara's mind-meld at the FOB. Why were no memories
shown during the exchange? Some say because "art" and others have speculated that it's more than the usual meld and maybe Liara is remembering Shepard's DNA. What if we go with the Glyph theory, what if Liara is indoctrinated? Why does she look so sad during that sequence, like she knows what is about to happen to Shepard? As far as I can tell, mind reading is not the same as knowing the future. But then I remembered the conversation was optional so it probably doesn't amount to much.

Anyway I found it minorly amusing that Liara could play the Benezia to Shepard's Saren, follow her with good intentions but ultimately fall victim to indoctrination. Such parallels aren't completely unthinkable.

i ever wathc only the citadel and part of the Prothean Architectur , but never the Reaper part and the integration of Organic and Sinthetics in this cut scene or not in this detail, this is maybe the pre-lode of Sinthesis Endings, and demm Destroction Endings forever and ever, Reaper die.

There is no one hobbling towards a light. The only person with about the same animation is Anderson shielding his face like Shep, but still without walking.
Though there seems nothing special in that pose.

Yeah, that was the joke Image IPB

Looking at the Arrival dream screen caps, the scene with the helmet is just the Normandy crash site, but not in game, it looks to be concept art. Anderson on the Citadel one simply because it's ME2 and Anderson is always standing there, that's just looking out the Embassy with a mini Harbinger added to the Presidium. And the scene with everyone is clearly Illium, once again, with Harbinger added. You can even read "Nos Astra" in one angle.

There's surprisingly little of interest in any of that sequence, the only notable thing being the dream's fade to white being used for a second time.

Hmm what do you mean? While it played in the game I couldn't really make out anything but the "syntehsis" stuff...

Seeing it frame by frame, yes it would appear to be Anderson next to the trigger happy reaper, oh well.

I've heard a theory that Liara got herself pregnant there, which is something I find quite likely. Asari do choose when they do or don't get pregnant after all. You can do it regardless of whether you romance her, and no matter what you do, she always has a thing for Shep, even a FemShep.

Regardless of gender and romance it happens, other than choosing not to do it, which would be an easy retcon. This is perfectly set up for a new protagonist, Shepard's daughter Image IPB

I assumed pregnancy when I saw that scene but then found out it wasn't only in a romance. I wouldn't put it past Liara, but it just seems wrong to do it anyway.

Ok, backpeddling a bit to the Firebase: Vancouver "easter egg" items. If all the items are assigned holidays, and corrisponding months, you get 6 consecutive months starting in October, as such:

For the purposes of the following list, the Strawberry Chocolate Cake goes to November.

Image IPB
Jack-o-Lantern: Halloween, October 2012

Image IPB
Starwberry Chocolate Cake: Thanksgiving, November 2012

Image IPB
Gift: Christmas, December 2012

Image IPB
Champagne/Serrice Ice Brandy/Alchohol: New Years Eve/Day, January 2013

Image IPB
Heart Shaped Box of Chocolates: Valentines Day, February 2013

Image IPB
Easter Egg Basket: Easter Sunday, March 2013

As it is, all six of these items could just be fun "easter eggs" the team put in for no reason other than it would be cool. But, if October rolls around with some kind of announcement or event from Bioware, we may be on to something. Six consecutive months of announcments/events/DLC? Not much of a stretch.

<snip some sharing "relationships suck" stories>

While we're trading stories, I got a fun one. Woman I met on the Internet back on '98. We weren't involved right away, I didn't meet her on a dating site or anything. We met on a gaming board, lot like this. Wound up becoming good friends and then more. When she decided to end it in 2001, she wasn't a decent enough human being to tell me straight up. I can understand not making that awful 1,000 mile trip, I mean she simply dropped off the face of the Earth. She stopped answering her phone, stopped logging online, anything. Remember how I said it was 2001? It was fall of 2001. Guess where she lived. That's right. As far as I knew she had no reason to be there, but she just disappeared after 9/11. It was about November before I found out she was just a coward. That was an interesting few months!

And in the end, I suppose I'm the pathetic one. Because I still haven't gotten over her. Around 2008 she contacted me again and we wound up giving it another try. In the meantime, I'd wound up disabled indefinitely. I told her upfront about it and that it complicates things. I'm aware of that and it bothers me. A lot. I'm not the type of person who's okay with not pulling my weight financially. She told me it was fine because it's not something within my control. Lasted a few months before she apparently realized "holy ****, he wasn't kidding" and left again. Last time I've been involved with someone. Just not worth it.

<deep breath> Okay, sorry, back to IT.

Yeah right. If Banshee is Chris, then how do you explain Bleedinguranium? I mean, they're brothers after all.

Gah. Don't ask him questions about it. It's just an excuse to keep talking about the nonsense.

... Hmm. 3 more pages and nothing about IT to reply to? What has this thread come to? Besides madness, I mean.

So has anything interesting been discovered in the week or so I was off wasting my time in MP instead of here?

I think of this thread not so much of an IT thread, but The Speculations Thread. After all, IT is a byproduct of speculations, right?
