If you take this and add in the conversation with EDI in ME3 about not knowing for certain if this is reality or something like that post Geth consensus, then you can start to see the seeds of IT.

Okay guys in ME1, at the end when Saren is being taken over by our Reaper friend. Did you all see the black tendereds like we see with TIM, Anderson, and Shepard.

When Saren is about to be taken over by Sovereign, there are some red tenticals around the scene.



Now after we kill Saren again, Sovereign shields are taken out, but to me the way Sovereign is going off line, and static of red electricity.



The same ones we see in all three endings, once the wave hits the Reapers.

This is the Destroy ending, and all videos have the times already set, to watch what I am taking about.

Okay I am watching Shepard talking to Javik, about his memory shard, and there are some hints about what is going to happen at the end.

It's funny Javik ask paragon Shepard, why he still fights, and Shepard says " Without that "affection" all I have in my life is death, and that's not enough."

Then Javik goes on to saying " Imagine if everyone you knew was dead. You could not remember their faces, or the color of the sky above your home. The memories were gone....but so was the pain. Would you like to remember that, Commander? Even if that meany watching everyone die again?"


What do you think happens in the three main choices. Do we not see our dead squad mates, over and over again every time we choose an ending. Does Shepard not feel no pain in Control? NO Shepard doesn't because it's not Shepard at all. You see even though it has Shepard's memory's, it's still not the REAL Commander Shepard.


You see the way I see Control, and Synthesis are get away's for Shepard to forget the pain he/she has had. For all the people that died fighting the Reapers, for all the dead crew members, and squad mates that have died under Shepard command. You see Paragon shows that Shepard is hurting from not just the fake/real kid back on Earth, but from everyone that has died, that Shepard knew. Renegade however try's to forget, and hide the pain, yet we the player knows that Shepard is hurting. From the inside.

You could argue that your Shepard is fine, but Shepard is not. Now Shepard then goes off to say " If I have something like this....seeing Earth again,Whole, with everyone still alive..... that would be worth the pain."

Now it's funny that Shepard says this because at the end when Shepard sees the future/ sees three people that matter most right now. Shepard is remember all the people that have died, and seeing Earth rebuilt to it's former self/ the galaxy. As Shepard is watching this Shepard feels the pain, only in Destroy, and maybe refuse. I say this because in Control you are in pain, but after you get right back up you are forgetting the meaning of pain, and thinking like a Reaper. Instead of Commander Shepard.

Synthesis is when Everything that Shepard is will be forgotten. In other words your the Reapers b**** now, but you still have some Control, but if you die the Reapers clam your body as they did Saren.







Also I like it that when Javik picks up the Shard you later hear a Reaper horn/ some whispers in the back ground. I am not saying this is an Indoctrination attempt, but it's probability the sounds of the past maybe.

More ground forces are needed. I'm thinking mid mission goal too though. All those troops will need more medigel for the fight at earth too.

The name is fishy. An alloy is a mixture of metals. But to alloy means to reduce in value or spoil. Some kind of sabotage by sleeper agents? Like make the Alliance busy training recruits instead of fighting on the battlefield while the Reapers do their work.

I think the in-universe purpose of this operation is to prepare us for a big operation next time. The most knightings that happened in medieval armies were the day before a major battle.

Out-of-universe, lots of people are starting school around this time.

The operation as it is is pretty dull. The mission is almost devalued by how easy it is. But maybe that's the point, they want to make it seem like the way is of less value because everyone's efforts are going to less important or "alloyed" things. There may be something important mid mission, or an important Hackett report at the end. It may be set up so that we will 100% get the Hackett report because this operation seems pretty easy.

After analyzing ME3,the EC,the Indoctrination Theory and the evidence that point to it I have reached a personal conclusion that everything after Harbinger's beam is an indoctrination attempt by Harby himself.This "chain of events" will explain:
Harbinger buries Shepard under the rubble using his beam,knocking Shep unconscious in the process(judging from the "Breath scene")...
The indoctrination begins...
The 3 husks and marauder Shields appear...
The event with Anderson and the Illusive Man...
Anderson-the part of Shepard's mind that understands that something is wrong...
Illusive Man-the part of Shepard's mind that is indoctrinated and under Harbinger's control...
(An interesting fact about the moment where the Illusive Man kills Shepard:it bears a strange resemblance to what happens at the end of Spec Ops:The Line,where,at the end,if you don't shoot Konrad before he shoots you,it turns out that you have commited suicide."It takes a strong man to deny what's in front of him".)
The result of this is always the same:"Anderson" and the "Illusive Man"
both die,softening Shepard's mind for Harbinger's final move...
A platform takes Shepard up...
The Star child (aka Harbinger) appears...
Harbinger offers you the choices...
Synthesis-as
I see it,the Citadel has turned into the replacement for the Collector
Base so,if Shep choses it,he gets turned into the "mind" of a Reaper...
Control-if Shepard choses this,he becomes a Reaper sleeper agent,speeding up the process of the annihilation of the galaxy by hundreds of years...
Destroy-Shepard sees through Harbinger's deception and terminates his indoctrination attempt (by destroying the tube)and wakes up in London.

ool I can't wait to see it, but this operatipon is very easy, and looks like we are prepareing to go take back Earth.

I say this because we are training new recruits for the fight against the
Reapers on Earth, and to me it's all going to be preparations for the
final battle with the Reapers at Earth.

I know it's doesn't say anything about Earth, but it's all just preparing for the battle of Earth.

Okay this is probably old news and we have already established that the Kid has to have some kind of connection to Shepards mind... but it is only now I realized he actually says it himself outright...I even quoted it without realizing.

"I know you have thought about destroying us."

Sure it is not hard to deduce Shepard wants the Reapers dead, but why not use a sentence like: "I know you want to destroy us."?

Probably old, but this...I really dont know how I missed that...

It's 50/50 Maybe it will but we all doubt it, yet it could give us more clues, or hints that IT is correct.

You're right if you take that quote word for word. ON the other hand, it may be just a coincidental rephrasing of "I know you want to destroy us," however it's hard to believe in coincidences when it comes to the ending.

Think about it. We have already done this operation before, but it's less than what we did already. By this stage in the story most of the populations ever where have lost so many people, we can only recruit the ones that want to fight still, and are alive.

Yeah I know, but it is still quite interesting.

Especially since it almost sounds as if he Shepard has only thought about it, but is not thinking about it right now as a sentence like: "I know your thinking about destroying us" would imply.

Not only that, but Shepard receives a vision of Anderson picking destroy during that dialogue, this is not a memory, or a prediction from the future, is purely a symbolic message directly to her brain that in the IT theory could mean that anderson went trough the indoc process and he picked destroy - getting free of it and maybe forgeting completly about it ?. TIM is also seen picking control, and this could mean that when somebody picks a choice they forget about the choosing scene and proceed to act and function in this mindset.

Also, if IT is true we dont know what happened to the real illusive man, this last boss fight against him they mention seems his real fate, plus the scene where the player lose control of shepard... IT dlc ?
