On a related note, Refuse would have been my favourite ending had it not been for the fact that, no matter what, you always lose. I think it should have been based on EMS, at least, but instead regardless of what it is, everyone is flagged as dead in the post-decision files. <_<
Good to see you DrTsoni, and welcome back.

Personally I believe each video is a culmination of digging for evidence in a joint effort by the video makers and the IT community here (that's one reason why Twilight God's IT thread irks me, sometimes, it seems to be a "one man effort " over there
I know nothing I've really said has added anything to the conversation, but, I would like to personally thank everyone and anyone who has put effort into the Theory and the IT videos

Anderson just makes zero sense in that scene... unless IT. The point is that he is Shepard, and that's why he sees everything Shepard does at the same time. Like when he tells you he found a way across the chasm, it's exactly when you find it. That's my interpretation at least.Mystical Taurus wrote...
A point that I don't think has been raised regarding Anderson. He follows you yet...
1 - Takes zero shots at the three husketters. Gee, thanks, are you just munching popcorn and sitting against a rock, wondering if Shep even stands a chance? And remember, they already had Combat!Anderson programmed in, due to the game's beggining.
2- Thanks for helping Shep to the beam. I mean, you're apparently right behind, but can't be bothered to provide a shoulder for Shep to lean on.
3 - Harby's gone, but hey, why bother informing Coates or anyone else about that fact. I mean, it's only your golden opportunity to get a force up there.

I think she did more than enough. If I'd have done what Shepard did, my COs would've probably already promoted me to a general. Not to mention that no matter what, Shepard would be nothing else but a clusterf*ck of broken bones. She would need a lot of time to recover from such serious injuries. I think a new protagonist should end the reaper war.
I dont really know how well another protagonist for the main games would go over. The series has pretty much always been about Shepard and her relationships with her squad first, and the Reapers second. To me at least. A new protagonist wouldnt really be able to capture that as well, I dont think.
I'd definitely play a game or DLC where you play as Anderson on Earth, leading the resistance. They could incorporate the suicide mission type of mechanics into it. Send the right squad and you get better results, and maybe how well you do could tie into ME3, and either raise or lower how much EMS you'd need to get the best endings of ME3.
But I wouldnt want anyone to replace Shepard's central role in the series.
I dont make games though. For all I know thats a horrible idea.
At this point, I could really care less if IT is true or the endings suck as long as Shepard gets closure. Squad and LI closure. The EC (kind of) explained the consequences of our decisions, like it said it would, but didn't provide virtually closure. I think this is extremely important; don't forget it.

Even though I haven't made any videos (yet) thanks! I'll repost my opinion of how this thread works. I wan't to make a couple of videos, but I need to get around to getting a recording program to do it. Hellish suggested I just use fraps, but I hate the "Fraps" that shows up on the screen. That's the point of the IT thread if you ask me. We are the geth consensus. We share perspectives. We combine our intellect to achieve something greater than any one of us could come up with individually. Through the trials of repetition, we discard the unnecessary and fortify the important. The weaknesses of one of us are insignificant because the strengths of the rest of us do more than compensate for them, they overshadow them. We can be wrong as individuals, but as a group, a team, we become something greater: what humanity could become if we put our minds to it. If we work together. This is my vision of the future.

It will reveal the kind of people the writers of Bioware are; what they are destined to be. IT could significantly redefine the boundaries of a game twist: either expanding the possibilities in the ME universe, or in rejecting IT savagely destroying the story.
