I think I came up with a good way to do both sides but the sheer amount of writing it would take summons the lazy monster and drags me down to it's layer. doing other ideas first.

As often as he posts he's far from a lurker. I wouldn't call him an authority, since I think he himself would rail at the label, in fact. But yes, HE knows more about Indoctrination Theory than Clevernoob does. and he is ALOT more involved than just some **** sitting on the sidelines with his camera, trying to take the credit.

Yes, this really DOES annoy me.

Putting evidence aside makes it seem more legitimate, and he does a great job of raising my expectations for the future of Mass Effect 3. More so than the other videos. But that's just me personally

There's dismissing poor evidence or dissecting bad arguments, and then there's "I don't think that's the case, but I haven't really done any research, so I'll just throw it out."

There's admitting when the other side makes a good point (such as certain cases where it CAN be legitimately re-used assets or the like) but sacrificing a point to make yourself appear more legitimate is simply stupid.

However, I will give him this. He's the Sarah Palin of IT. He has little personal experience or first hand knowledge, but goddamn if he isn't skilled at riding and building hype and all that.

I'm not saying it's a good thing or advocating it. I'm just saying why I think he's done it.
Let's not get touchy over personal taste and opinions now.  I had no intention of causing an argument.

I first learned about Indoctrination of Shepard through ACAVYOS' video too. I suppose most people were introduced to IT that way. The video is extremely well-made (both old and new versions) and full of details. It analyzes the whole Codex entry on Reaper Indoctrination and relates it to the events of the games. Unfortunately, it seems that after the EC ACAVYOS no longer thinks IT is the case.

It does annoy me that he puts himself forward as the
academic senior on the matter, but none the less I find his videos helpful in
explaining the theory to some one new. It's hard to state so much evidence
without incoherently rambling. Well at least for me. I can’t remember what was
found first anymore. There’s too much flying through my tiny little brain for
me to explain the simplest things to some one…

Regardless I say we move on. Let's not take up any more time on such topics.

I honestly can't say. I haven't seen anything about the IT since March. I don't exactly know what happened in the meanwhile, but at the time, it seemed pretty believable. However, I'm undecided.

Well Smudboy's newest video takes a sudden turn for the worse and starts rampantly bashing IT'ers.  Specifically IT'ers.  Not any of the other fans.  Not the pro-enders.  Not the retakers.

Not to mention he uses typical troll logic of using the 'bad writing' argument for EVERY SINGLE THING.  And then stating 'it didn't happen' over and over again as if he's almost trying to convince himself.  And the the final classic line 'dreams are just dreams'.

Yeah, I'm done.  Thanks Smudboy, but no more videos.  Ifs clear you just want to hate, and any potential for constructiveness isn't within you.
