Whenever that topic comes up I try to tell people how it's possible for non-voice acted noise to be intended to sound like something but they can't seem to fathom the possibility.

I'll be honest, I'm not sure what Harbinger is saying, but I think it is overtly clear that he is saying something. I know "serve us" is the trend, but I swore it was "save us" when EC first came out. I don't think we can be certain at this time, but there is no doubt that he is attempting to communicate something. The camera angle and the deep "breath" he takes before uttering his mechanical gurgle make this obvious to me.

Well as the guy said the sound plays at other times in the game. One other time is also at the beginning in Vancouver when the Reaper falls in front of you. So the sound is not exclusive to Harbinger.

I think he ment the slide show's with Coats in the rebuilding of London.

I think if you're seeking inconsistency it's more the fact that he's shown alive in the slides in every ending and is the one that called on the soldiers to retreat

Think those were put up before the "official " EC soundtrack was released and the user found the music within the original files or something. It's explained some where on YouTube.

Some are just random as they are neither the names from the game files nor the soundtrack.

It doesn't really make sense in the context, but if you remember the cut derelict reaper dialogue from ME2:

"Join us, and you shall never be alone again"

I think the title/dialogue could be some kind of nod to the reaper influence. EDI was very clear that if she were to be rewritten she would have no choice but to serve the reapers...

It's what EDI says in the ending. All names for the ending tracks are quotes.

yeah I never noticed it till i saw Prettz video and then i started noticing it after that.

I do find it funny, that once Shepard wakes up, both the Keeper,Coats,the Alliance soldier with a hat, and the helmet are gone, and Bioware had a 5 second pause on the area. Where all of that should have been.

Also notable is both the corpse and the keeper disapear after the cutscene, but the surroundings don't change so it's not a map issue.

I trying to think on why BioWare did that...it really was unnecessary. There didn't even need to be a body. Instead they made a point to use the major's body. WHY?

I tried the custom avatar trick with the Mac version of DA:O, but it didnt work. Just as well, I might change my avatar to something awful like Paxxton's new avatar.

I mean, no offense or anything, Paxxton, but if you thought that avatar was a good choice, I kind of understand why you think control is a good idea too.

Because I don't care for Star Wars? I don't care for sci-fi in general, truth be told. I'm only an ME fan because the storytelling was incredible. I more prefer the swords and wizards type of setting that Dragon Age has. But as for a serious answer, yes, plenty. I'd elaborate but I prefer not to share much in public. Some lowlives are always looking for ammo like that.

Technically, it's not, but the mods have looked the other way with respect to this particular loophole.

Which is why I get nervous whenever someone makes a questionable avatar. Seen a few animated ones that went upto 10 megs. And you have to wonder how long before someone uploads something seriously offensive and they wind up deciding it's not worth it to let us do this.

We still do our occasional speculating.  And once Leviathan is out, we'll probably have... more... to...  HOLY SMOKES!  Maybe Chris chose to shut us down at that exact moment so our thread would be reset so people could see our speculations about Leviathan!
