We need to find a way to distinguish between Estebanus and his sister.

Also this just popped into my head: Estebanus' sister needs to confirm whether or not Estebanus actually has a brother. I'm still split on whether I actually believe it was his brother who posted that screamer a few months ago.

I dont know why I even still care about it at this point though.

Sorry, but you seem to be one of the few. I just want the discussion moved to another forum. Say, "IT-con vs IT what? classic?" Maybe in his own theory's thread? Just read this page. The quote at the top has the screamer linked and Estebanus says it was his brother near the bottom.

Its not that bad if you're expecting it and your volume's low. Just a generic screamer, though, not missing out on much if you dont click it.

I just beat the game a couple days ago and checked out this forum then. I assumed it was intended for the player to think that some or all of what was happening after the Harbinger beam was dream/waking dream/hallucination/indoctrination attempt (not quite sure yet myself), and when I saw there was debate, decided to check out these threads.

I don't know, but it sounds like something I came up with myself (and I totally don't think btw) that the endings are literal but the starkid is still trying to indoctrinate you. :/

Chris Priestly himself said IN PLAIN ENGLISH that IT has not been debunked and remains a valid interpretation to the end of the game. He also stated that there are layers of meaning and subtle symbolism and metaphor in the ending.

Tully Ackland has been on record as having said that there are aspects of the game with non-literal interpretations.

So... they were lying then? Because I have not seen ONE, count them, ONE SINGULAR occasion where they debunked it or said "No, IT is not real and does not apply."

Not ONCE have they said as much.

Can YOU move on from your pessimism? IT has yet to be debunked, Bioware avoids comment on it, and has yet to even barely touch it. They have made NO official statements of ANY kind short of "We're not saying one way or the other."

Will do. I think I'd probably like Lilly. And maybe Rin. Though I'd say Rin is a bit too much like me for a relationship with anyone like her to work out.
