I doubt they'll confirm or deny it until a sequel or post-ending DLC comes out.Arashi08 wrote...
I wish people wouldn't get so obsessed with Leviathan "proving or disproving IT." Even if by some miracle they do confirm IT, I don't believe it will be in this one DLC. This is shaping up to be like the hype with the EC where everyone thought it would either prove or disprove IT, but then it turned out to do neither, and then both sides claimed it either disproved it or added more clues. That's probably exactly what's gonna happen with Leviathan. It may provide more clues, but it won't prove IT, nor will it disprove it (though people will try to say it does.)
As doubtful as it is, even if they confirm their direction was similar to IT, it likely won't occur until they put out their LAST sp DLC. They want us to keep buying their products and confirming or denying IT could lose a portion of their fanbase either way. It also makes more sense from a storytelling perspective imo.
well, my soapbox has stilts today lol
The speculation is good for them. If the last level was all literally real, IT speculation makes the writers look much better than they actually were, and gives them time to come up with a way to write themselves out of their corner.
