Wait a minute, you might be on to something.  If Leviathan attacks Harbinger during the beam run, then Harbinger won't be able to knock out Shepard.  And if Harbinger doesn't knock out Shepard...

In the dialogue with the catalyst, while asking him about leviathan and it's origins, he starts to panic, and he says (IIRC):

'Please...you have to choose synthesis'.

Although this pushes synthesis as an option, it instead has the opposite effect; we are being begged to choose it by a reaper, and so fewer people will choose it.

This could be used to help IT; they may sense shepard is seeing through the illusion.

Don't spoil anything!

Wait a minute, you might be on to something.  If Leviathan attacks Harbinger during the beam run, then Harbinger won't be able to knock out Shepard.  And if Harbinger doesn't knock out Shepard...

He runs into a piece of concrete then gets kncked out and somehow his armor is burnt.

Aha! Leviathan fights Harbinger while the Normandy rescue occurs. The "Harbinger stares at the Normandy Leaving" was a place holder. Leviathan loses and Harbinger still manages to hit SHepard with the beam. I'm sure that's all that will happen.

I haven't really followed the news on Leviathan but right now you guys make it sound like Bioware is planning to slowly change the entire game via DLC...

Hmm, maybe, but I will be equally unsurprised if it's just another war asset to add to the pile and/or Leviathan itself is inconsequential outside of the DLC, with the exception of additional conversation with the Catalyst.

Also, people asking when it will go live, based on previous DLC releases it's usually:

360: Early morning EDT
Origin: Midday EDT
PS3: Shortly after Origin (except Europe, which is the day after)

So you're saying that we're going to spend 3 to 4 hours finding and recruiting Leviathan only so he can come back to Earth with us and promptly get smacked down by Harbiner? <_<  If that's the case, he better be giving us some seriously good reaper background info to make up for the less-than-stellar fighting skills.
