To show every war asset in action would be around an hour or more of cutscenes. Doesn't the game by itself have an hour of cutscenes or more? Would just add to the development time, not to mention more money. Not sure if Bioware went over budget on the game or not.
Why would it need to be in cutscenes? And why so long? Even a few seconds of cutscene would be enough.
But seeing Rachni fighting alongside you would be amazing, and wouldn't even be hard to program in. And if they can have Turian fighters flying overhead, why not Volus bombers?

Where is the evidence to support Shepard being immune to indoctrination?
1) Three entire games minus the last 10 minutes are Shepard wanting to wipe them out.
2) Leviathan wanting to study is uniqueness, why the reapers see him as a threat.
3) Harbinger wanting to study him, dead or alive.
There is something special about Shepard that reapers and levy wants. I think it's how he can fight the reapers for so long and be successfull.

I thought that scene was pretty...interesting - kinda choppy but w/e good enough
Doesn't Leviathan also allude to the existence of starkid?
I remember seeing that on youtube at least. He called it the intelligence i think right.
What implications does this have for IT? Starkid was suppose to be harbinger apparating in sheps head not an actual entity?
Thoughts...speculations...ideas...wft bioware (if neccessary)

I think, noone will trust the Catalyst now. It is just stupidity. Now we know that Harbinger wants to study Shepard and this is a big step towards the IT. I wonde if and if so, how, this DLC changes the dialogue with the Catalyst. I mean, it has to, right??
*spoiler*
You get to ask the Catalyst about his creator, Leviathan. There's actually a dialogue choice that says "Leviathan".
Other than that, it's the same ending as the Extended Cut. Wake up back on Earth and the credits roll.

1)Seems to be a point proving he can be indoctrinated. If he was immune, he wouldnt be tempted by two choices
at the last minute.
2)That can be for any number of reasons having nothing to do with indoctrination immunity. If Leviathan studies Shepard he'll be disapointed in what he finds. Aside from a few cybernetic parts, Shepard is just another
human. It doesnt qualify as evidence.
3)Again that hardly qualifies as evidence.

I guess that would work. Some war assets aren't actually personnel. For example, I think there's one called a Reaper Heart. Not sure how they would do war assets that aren't people fighting the Reapers, but rather technology to help build the Crucible or other things.

Yet the illusive man indoctrinates/controls Shepard and Anderson with his new magical space powers.

As far as I saw the only changes were some small differences in godchild dialogue.
Like:
Shep: Leviathan is fighting with us.
Godchild: Thats cool.
Not too interesting.

1) Not really. I only say this because you have the option of not killing them all. What happens if a player picks destroy? Is it that he's not indoctrinated, or is it that the player did what Shepard went there to do?
2) Then why did Levy bother having a conversation? He had Shepard in front of him and was able to enter his mind. He could have just shut him off like the others and did what he wanted. Perhaps it's because he couldn't. If he could study why he couldn't, then maybe he could stop the reapers from indoctrinating anyone the next cycle, making it more difficult for the harvest to proceeed.
3) Harbinger could have been to indoctrinate him each time they had an encounter and failed. Such a thing needs to be studied so that if it happens the next cycle, they can be prepared.
Each side wants Shepard for the same reason but for different purposes. And they both have to do with indoctrination.

That wasn't indoctrination. More like brute force control of his nervous system. They had coherent thoughts and were able to respond to TIM's attemots to convince them to stand down. Indoctrination doesn't work that way.

If it's one thing I didn't like about the DLC, it was that. You're telling me you're the collective knowledge of all the reapers, which means you knew where Levy was, that I was there with him, he let me escape, gave me god powers, killed one of your 'tools' and you welcome that?
Like nah, that's no problem, the greatest organic threat joined up with a super organic from the past? We can handle that. That whole exchange was just lazy.
