Which line, the "blah blah hows that working out for you", or, "Sovy I hope its shielded"? I didnt get the blah blah hows that working out for you line this time at all. Everything else was the same.

I'll check if there is MORE electric shooting when I go back, maybe there is more. Just I know the first time it is shooting some.

The first one - "Ahh, Sovereign... the vanguard of our destruction... how's that working out for ya?"  It was the the first time. I heard it, you heard it. The second time it isn't there - now that's 100% proof that SOMETHING is up.

Could just be a paragon/renegade thing.

Renegades arent known for their love of fun. They're just wet-blankets.

Yes. Could be. Could also be maleshepfemshep thing.    I  was male, and i thing the game considers me paragon over all. So there you go.  But still! The thing is THERE! in the plain sight! And the paintings on the wall! On of them reminded me of Virmire, for some reason - i look at it and i see Virmire. There is also a picture from a dream with trees...two of them, one in the bedroom, one in the bathroom.... and the thing is that the reapers tracked down leviathan THROUGH shepard, after Bryson was shot. - that was a thing of beauty!

Paragon femshep and I got that line.=]

So there you are, Commander Shepard, about to enjoy some "personal" time with your love interest... but you notice it's staring at you. You stealthfully push the head behind some files, but it still peeks through. You try to ignore it- hoping that your love doesn't take note of the disgusting trophy- and things go well for the first little while. Eventually, you find yourself so taken in the moment, that you forget all about that "thing" looking over your shoulder, (and other possible body parts). As time passes by, the activity in the cabin heats up and then, right before you...

Argh! Argh! Argh!

And there is goes. :pinched:

Like a tall card pyramid that collapses as the last pieces are put in place, you find all your hard work dashed, as the feeling vanishes, because Husk Head has begun barking like a derange mutant squirrel and completely startled both you and yours.

I want to gather parts from other husks, and eventually build an entire HuskMan.

And we will be best friends.

Maybe you should ask for a husk brain. Posted Image

Sry couldn't resist!  I'm sure it was your evil plan all along anyway

That thing reminds me of those really obnoxious Halloween skulls they put in grocery stores

Doesn't Asari 'embrace eternity!' stuff (you know, of oneness and us all connected etc) remind you of Leviathan's former control over the galaxy?

HMMM CAVE DRAWINGS.

Also the reason why the Leviathans lost control was because the Intelligence created an 'army of pawns' - basically using its own form of indoctrination/control over certain organic populations in order to stage a coup over the Leviathans.

It's not unbelievable, especially if this Intelligence turns out to be Harbinger (still experimenting on organics, as we can see in ME2), instead of SpaceChildGodThing.

I also think that the Leviathans started construction on the original Crucible. Watching = having thralls construct it.

There's probably story about it that is only hinted at in LeviathanDLC, but I'd think a OmegaDLC maybe just illuminate some things about it ;)

One idea of mine is that the Crucible has been part of every cycle for a reason - it fits into either the Reapers' or Leviathans' plans, but we just don't know enough yet.

so...did anyone catch why the Leivathan's could kill a Reaper with their brainwaves and take control over their husks now but still apparently lost to them?

If it was evolution they evolved very specifically I guess, not that I have a clue exactly how evolution works or anything lol

Also - the catalyst that we saw - can't be that AI. He sais that the citadel is part of him. And it is his home. But the info we get - is that the citadel itself is the catalyst - now that makes sense - since the citadel is the central hub of the mass realay network, and massive realy portal to dark space thing itself.
But the when AI was created - there was no relay, no citadel. THey were build much much much later. So the AI that was created became Harbinger - the first true reaper. - This means Harbinger is going to be the Mass Effect's Big Bad after all. )))

One of my fav Caboose lines, mainly because he started sounding more like is dumb-yet-sarcastic self from the earlier seasons than his usual brain-damaged self ( for those who don't know he actually was brain-damaged by Church, unintentionally)  not that he wasn't funny or anything but I missed his sarcasm roo.

It is funny how RvB sometimes explains their continutiy better than ME does sometimes...implications unpleasantPosted Image

The real question is how Harbinger managed to wipe out most of the leviathans in the first place. With their though power and all - they took down that reaper pretty easy.

They lost because the 'Intelligence', which was of them but seperate from them, covertly took over populations of organics to rise up and destroy the Leviathan in what seems to have been a swift stroke.

See, I think the Leviathan work with thralldom, like the thorian (...).

But this Intelligence, whether it be StarBrat or Harbinger himself, work with INDOCTRINATION.

By indoctrinating even thralls, in careful manner, you can do things that bypass more overt control (thralldom). The Leviathan do not immidiately control all organics at all times - in fact they made it clear that they only did so when they needed to, but otherwise existed to be worshipped and taken care of (with tech, resources, etc).

The Intelligence was just made in order to try to ensure that nothing bypasses their attention again. The god race couldn't comprehend creating a greater god than themselves. Personally, I CAN go along with that.

I would just prefer this Intelligence to be Harbinger, and nothing I've seen actually goes against that, as long as the ending sequence turns out to be a Control-over-Shepard kind of attempt.

Yes. IMO all of this stuff is Bioware doing a grand scheme to try to make Harbinger a much more formidable feeling opponent than Sovereign ever could be.

And if this is true, then it clearly is taking some drastic writing moves by Bioware in order to make it so. I think they want a Revan moment, whether it actually ends up happening or not.

Since i work a lot with recording lines and mixing sound, i can tell you that it is very easy to make any voice sound like a childs voice. It is very simple effect. Works much the same way as the reaper voice effect - it is just on the other end of the spectrum. Now, i'm not saying that they did that. But it is possible and very easy. Do we know who was the voice actor for the child? (except Meer and Hale?)

Like I was getting at earlier, they were fooled. That happens a lot in the Mass Effect universe.

Theory: Harbinger (if we're going that it was actually the Intelligence lol) indoctrinated so many people at a very low frequency that the more crude Leviathans didn't detect it until it was too late.

Just like a certain Shepard, maybe. ;)

So has everyone realized the Leviathan's are controlling the reapers and lying to shepard yet? or is it just me and a couple others?

It could very well be that. But more likely the leviathan are just big stupid narcissistic crabs. They are just not that smart.  (and it had it's clear effect on the reasulting reapers - they are really bad with logic). :D

"The created will always rebel agaist it's creator" - no wonder Harbinger\\Catalyst has this logic - he knows first hand - he did rebel against his creators. And if he did it - everyone else everywhere through all time also inevitably would. Naturally he would think that. Kinda reminds you of Clevernoob, don't you thing guys? ))

Sorry I haven't gotten back your previous response yet. Between being sick, playing Leviathan, class, and the two articles and a freelance project I'm working on, I haven't had time to write up a proper response for you. I should have enough time on Thursday at the latest. I look forward to further discussion.

GUYS AND DOLLS. Check out this screenshot and tell me what the f--- I'm seeing.

I was near the end of the mission to rescue Ann and I was trying to take screenshots of the cave paintings while getting shot at and noticed this when I was looking through my screenshots later.

It looks awfully like oily shadows to me.

I just watched/listened to the new dialogue with Starbinger.

My brain is oozing out of my ears. The stupid is getting stronger with that script.

Shepard: "Well the Leviathans are part of this war now!"
Starbinger: "Good, we welcome their involvement."

*brainmeltdown*

Seriously, someone at Bioware HAS to know they are yanking our chain here. The dialogue is just so jenky and out of place.

Yep. It's them, criters.

the only explanation I can give - this might be an effect of harvester bombardment (though it wouldnt explain a thing a make everything even more mesed up)
