Wanted to ask something to you guys... Am I the only one that got this issue with Leviathan?  I felt so trolled by Javik :bandit:

No, but I did get trolled by Javik. Did anyone else not get Javik to say anything after the mission? For me and BleedingUranium, he stood there after you click on him, is silent, then the next time you click it he says "Commander." or something. Like you properly queued him to talk but the audio doesn't work. Anyone else have this issue?

Edit: On top again! Posted Image

I've listened to all his arguments. I really like his thread posts. He obviously put a lot of work in. I just think ITdream is the better fit. But he's gotten to the point of "bow down to my superior intellectual reasoning." It's old, the overwhelming majority here are tired of his constant posting about how he is right and we are wrong. About everything. So yes, people are getting impatient with him. His theory is not indoctrination theory, although it's perfectly valid, but not what THIS thread wants to talk about., especially with Leviathan having just released.
,He has his own thread. People here don't want to argue with him anymore, but
He's become very condescending and it's getting

Old?  Yes I know,  just like this argument over which IT is better is.

And yes, I agree with you about his attitude, but whatever happened to the age old wisdom of ignoring someone.  He reminds me of some other poster back in mark 2, who thought he was right and therefore superior to everyone, and HE in turn reminded me of those fundamentalists that come to college campuses and tell everyone they are condemned to hell.  Naturally people form a crowd around him usually to argue with him and all that, and then an three hours later, he's still there, preaching his BS.  But when one of them goes largely ignored, they don't even stay there for an hour, cuz nobody is listening to them.

The way I see it, if Twilight can get his act together and talk civily and in a mature manner, then he should be free to do so, but if he continues to act superior to everyone, then just ignore him, he obviously isn't that superior if he isn't worth your time is he?

I think he clearly needs to grow up, but this arguing doesn't help your cause either.  let IT stand united and all that. Posted Image

EDIT: and don't worry, I know you aren't trying to jump down my throat, you are at least being civil and mature.  Twilight doesn't seem to want to be mature with anyone anymore...

Hey guys, sorry to butt in but I had a question.

You know how after the EC there were investigative options with the Catalyst that supposedly shed more light on how the three choices worked? And how when you selected them there was a brief moment when they depicted scenes that happened during the ending you chose (the soldiers fighting on earth, the crucible firing, etc.), like flashforwards? Well, I just finished playing Leviathan through the ending (and was kind of upset that the only thing that changed was a couple of lines, but that's beside the point) and they weren't there anymore. All it did was show Shepard close her eyes and then the scene kind of stuttered a bit and they continued the conversation. I was just wondering if this was a bug or if they intentionally took the scenes out. I realize these flashforwards weren't amazing, spectacular evidence for IT or anything, but they did indicate something weird was happening in Shepard's mind. It's probably just a bug because it would be kind of strange for them to take out these scenes after they added them in with the EC. Anyway, just wondering if it happened to anyone else.

You know, I wonder what Hudson and Walters are doing right now. I mean, they've gone dark on Twitter, they haven't made ANY public appearances lately (Even when they were interviewed about the Extended Cut we didn't get to see their faces.), and they basically have been completely off the grid since June. What gives? My bet is that they're sitting somewhere laughing about everything and drinking champagne, celebrating their success at fooling everyone. Well, that's what I think they're doing from an IT perspective, anyway. :)

So there's something special about Shepard. He breached the darkness! Leviathan has trouble capturing his mind. 2 initial attempts fail and Shepard breaks out. Also he's an anomaly (caused by what?).

Maybe Shepard's ability to resist Levy's control is foreshadowing of his later resistance to Harby's indoctrination... ;)

Haven't yet played the ending after beating the Leviathan. But that does sound very interesting.  I pointed out the fact that those scenes clearly show that the rest of the slide show is also images that the catalyst shows you, just as he did it when you asked about the options. Could be they deleted it since it is too obvious of a give away, and could be a bug.
But they definetly were there at some point after the EC.

Short answer? No. That's why I like this thread though. The gender ambiguity is nice. It allows us to see other people as just that: people. That's all that matters. Posted Image

That's right! I half noticed it last night when I played it! Why would they do that? Or is it a bug? Thanks for bringing this to my attention! :D

No if we really want to play his game we have to make a thread about how terrible all of his ideas are and how we're tired of him. Then when he posts we'll say, "Ahh! Why don't you go read my thread before commenting!"

Your confidence does not annoy me. Your arrogance does. Your condescendence. You come in here and basically claim you are the supreme ruler or something. All I am asking you to do is leave us in peace. Disagreeing with us is fine. Most of you don't like me? I imagine you don't like anyone who exposes the holes in your reasoning. Tough. Get used to it because it's not going to end. This is a forum.

"Arrogance" is what butthurt forumites call unyeilding confidence and unwavering resolve. And I have every right to be "arrogant". I have torn apart your arguments and defended mine effortlessly. In this situation I have no need to be humble especially when dealing with people who, when clearly losing a debate, resort to playing the victim and then running away with their tails between their legs rather than admit they are wrong. All the while while insisting it's because the big bad man over the internets is a meanie. Boo-hoo. Posted Image

I'll demonstrate: Quote anything I've posted in which I've even so much as hinted to being "the supreme ruler".

Or just another case of imagined victimization?

Yes, Shepard wants to stop the Reapers. I still don't see how that ties to indoctrination though.:?

I think that is the real mystery.

Could it be the fact that he died, and was rebuild from scratch, heavily implanted with tech?
And remeber - indoctrination doesn't work on the Geth, who are tech. It only works on organics.

Could it be that Illusive man invested in project lazarus for it to be a failsafe if everything else fails? (Before he fell to the indoctrination completely?)

Cause to be frank - we don't have a clue how that worked, and why would he do it in the first place. We just got teased about all that on cronos station.

Agreed. Not only that it took three of them to subdue him after he broke out the second time.

The anomaly is that Shepard Evolved! He's indoctrination proof, at least by current methods.

Yeah, it was weird. I didn't notice it at first because I was dead tired after watching all of those unskippable cutscenes for the millionth time, but they were definitely gone. I'm hoping it's just a bug because I really liked the flashforwards as evidence. But it might have been because it was too obvious, like you said demersel.
