Pah, Bioware's already playing that game with us: Need a tool to possibly wipe out the Reapers for sure? Why not ask a Reaper how!

LOL. I must have been really sleepy when playing it cause I thought the probe was launched back when the MSV Monarch crashed.

Fair enough. But the most important thing is why they let operational and emitting probe just lay right next to them. Seems like they wanted to be found eventually.

But in reality they might as well be from our stand point. They have their own agenda that seems worse than the reapers.

That's not true. They cared for the thrall species.

No. I'd argue that the species had great freedom if they were able to create machines (meaning their development was mostly unconstrained).

Or they could have done so of the Leviathans' will.
I wouldn't say they were worse than the Reapers, but they certainly are not on our side. The Reapers built the Relays to make harvesting quicker and easier (ironic that they would eventually lead to their demise...Perhaps "the created will always rebel against the creators" is not so far off, after all). Saying the Leviathan cared for their trall species as one would care for livestock may not be far off. They did create the Intelligence, which in turn created the Reapers, that did...well, something similar, anyway.

Ok, I see how the conversation part is a clue to the IT, as in stating that conversations like this are possible and plausible, but I fail to see what the Leviathan artifacts have to do with the last scenes taking place inside Shepard's mind by Reaper manipulation.

Also, here's another possible clue: the whole talk about Shepard being different, an anomaly. This could suggest the Reapers can be interested in Shepard just as the Leviathans are (it's actually pretty clear already that the Reapers have an interest in Shepard) and thus the Reapers would want to indoctrinate Shepard, either to make him serve their purpose or just to prove that they CAN break him.

Okay guys I found something very interesting that it's not in the dialogue with TIM at the end of ME3.

When TIM says " The crucible can ...." TIM says if you listen to what he says with out looking at the dialogue, he says  " The Crucible's", as in more than one. Omega maybe.



Here is the video that I am talking about, it should be on the time I set it on. If not then skip to 9:00.

An interestin thing i just noticed.... in SP, in character customization screen, when you're choosing the casual outfit - look closely at shepard's hands - they are weird. The most weird would be if you put on admiral's uniform - the heands a old, and boney. - clearly this this outfit is tken from hackett's model and they forgot to change the hands - that's what caught my attention - but then i checked the hands on other costumes - the ones that were made specially for Shepard - and they are not the hands of a healthy person. They are different, than Hackett's but are still pale, and veiny, with black areas, and somewhere in the animation loop there is an animation for them to twitch. Check it out for yourself.

I get why they could they possibly be like that for the outfit he wore on earth during the prologe - there was much destruction and fires and heavy fighting - he was knocked out, lifted some debree, but for the other one - the dafault casual allience soldier uniform? They are the same. They are the same on his smuggler outfit,  fingers have same colour and texture, but the back of the palms are covered. And they are different in the leather jacket outfit, and the N7 hoody - they have no black areas, but they are still strained and much more pale. 

seriously - they look like he has started to decay!

That's bugged me since the first time I played it...especially considering the subtitle says "Crucible."
It was mentioned maybe a couple weeks ago that he probably just messed up and the sound guys were just too nervous to correct the great Martin Sheen

Has anyone discussed the difference in mechanisms of Leviathan and Harbinger's indoctrination/mind-control abilities?

Case 1:
Leviathan: Your mind will be mine. *Yoink*
Shepard: I just want to ask a ..... *becomes vegetable*

Case 2:
Harbinger: Your mind will be mine...please?
*Shepard casts brain shield*
*It is successful. Chance of indoctrination reduced to 25%*
