Leviathan didn’t blow my mind but it was definitely better than ME2‘s DLC and it set the bar pretty high for future ME3 DLC. Hope the ME team don’t disappoint.

It was better than Arrival, sure, but no way was it better than LotSB.

If Leviathan was lying about not knowing what the crucible does.... If Leviathan is using the organic races to destroy the Reapers, wouldn't it want to warn Shepard about synthesis and control? Shouldn't Leviathan understand how the mass relays work? How did they not figure out over millennia that the citadel could send out a space magic beam? They don't even have a suggestion as to it's function. How did some organics come up with the crucible idea yet Leviathan never figured it out.

Leviathan can't like control because they'd have to fight the ShepReapers and the galaxy in one unified front.

They'd have to feel pretty secure that they'd be immune to synthesis before taking that risk. They already see themselves as the apex of life so synthesis would only be acceptable if it turns everything into Leviathans, which is not what I'd want as an organic. I'm not cool with becoming aheartless jumbo cuttlefish.

And I don't want to hear that the first cycle that started on the crucible didn't know it was for

"Aaah, Reapers"
"We should build something"
"Build what?"
"I don't know, but it'll be pretty cool when the future finishes it"
"okay let's pick a color and a shape"
"egg-shell white and phallic"

I disagree. If the ending was already perfect and I had no reason to think Leviathan would impact it, it was worlds above Lair of the Shadowbroker.

5 hours?

What were you doing that whole time?

Took me maybe 2.5 hours.

I've seen such varying numbers. Some people claim to do it in an hour. Gethprime says 5, took me like 3 and a half. I don't get where all this could be coming from.

I'd pay ten bucks for huskhead

And I agree plfranke, Bioware needs to give a reason for us to keep believing in them soon. Some substantial clue that there will be a payoff from all the dlc in the end. I WANT to throw gobs of money at them.

Leviathan's ending - where it invades Shepard's mind - closely mirrors the StarChild scene.

So much so that I believe this was a deliberate tip of the hat to IT.

The only thing i didn't like was the combat. Cambat is awfull in leviathan. Gimmecky and glitchy.
It was cheap, while providing no real challenge. \\
And they shoulnd try to put multyplayer objectives into a single playr game.

It just beats LOTSB for me because it involves the squad mates/LI’s more. I was squeeing like crazy at protective Garrus and laughing my ass off over Vega and the husk head. In terms of plot then I'd agree that LOTSB beats it but only just.

Everyone get out of this thread and help the rest of the community make a plea to Bioware to make a new ending. We don't need the IT as a "transition" for a new ending.

Shepard: The Leviathans are a part of this war now!
Catalyst: Good, I welcome their involvement.

End of Leviathan

Yeah, I was very disappointed with the overall impact of the DLC.

Leviathan telling you at the end of the DLC that they will FIGHT. The creators, that are able to turn a HARBINGER class reaper into a useless pile of metal crushing into the ocean with their minds, are taking part in the endgame with one or two new dialogue options? WAT?

*huskhead screaming from the back of the room with information*

WHAT?! 400 more war assets? STFU AND TAKE MY MONEY!

I for one, took my time reading all the new planet's descriptions. Very interesting stuff.

Well it was amazing until you actually speak to Leviathan and get bs answers.
Shepard: Why did you create the Reapers?
Leviathan: We saw that synthetic and organic relationships always ended in conflict. Therefore, the only solution was to create a synthetic. Then it betrayed us and for all our power we were helpless against the cavemen it controlled.
Shepard: What about the crucible?
Leviathan: End result is unknown.

Catalyst: Good, I welcome their involvement.

End of Leviathan

That and EDI asking this in regard to the Sovereign fragment "Did you take the appropriate steps to avoid indoctrination?"

Yep, same ones we take every time we are around Reaper tech.

Shepard: Why did you make such an AI when you knew AI's were killing the races that made them?
Leviathan gives 5 minute speech.
Shepard: ...  I've got a limited amount of oxygen in here.  Just say "hubris" and get on with it.

You're a part of the bioware community whether you like it or not, now quit hoping that you'll get a false fan-fiction for the ending and help us really get the ending this trilogy deserves

If you all dedicated as much time to actively pursuing a way to get a new ending instead of speculating on terrible writing. You guys might get things done. He's not so much trolling as he is frustrated.
