+1 If they don't believe it that's fine. But don't bash us for it. I mean, they go in here telling us were wrong way more often than we go out and say "Guys! IT is true guys!" And they also think it's bad writing. Sure it could be, but wouldn't you rather think or hope it isn't?Arashi08 wrote...

Actually, it's even simpler than narcissism. Byne sends hate mail to a random bsn user everyday and voila- trolls.

There's good and bad ambiguity though. There's ambiguity like the ending of Inception, and then there's lying constantly until no one knows what's true.spotlessvoid wrote...
Yes, Bioware has been great at staying ambiguous. Even that could mean anything

IT is a fan-fiction ending.
Except you have no proof of that, and the thread asking to move the IT thread to the fan creations forum got locked.
Anyhow, I'm tired as hell. Going to go to bed.
Nitpicking my posts and running away doesn't make you right. With the leviathan dlc actaully acknowleging the existence of the catalyst, Bioware is heading in a direction that hurts the mass effect universe. And regardless of whether IT is true or not, one thing is certain: it's not necessary for an alternate ending dlc. Quit hoping that it's the case and help the rest of the community make a plea for better endings, or answers as to why the ending was so bad to begin with if that's the best we can get.

Guys he wants what we all want, a better ending than what we have now with the literal interperetation. Bioware even said if your interperetation of IT depends on further clarification through dlc it was not their intention. I know that things can change but just look at what we have here it doesn't look good. It's been half a year.
I wouldn't. Priestly flatly denied a MP DLC that turned out to be exactly as leak described. I swear it's like they're TRYING to tell us that we shouldn't trust them on what's to come.
most recent is probably a writer (i think walters) saying in final hours how they were never going to go into depth on the reapers origins
There's a certain extent to when you have to trust what someone says though, like that project x thing. If it really was going to happen, Bioware would have stayed silent, but they didn't want people to keep their hopes up for nothing, so they denied it's existence.
Also, how can you say "Priestly says IT is a valid ending", then call him a liar on other things? That's really just nitpicking to fulfill wishful thinking.

What's the matter Byne? Don't you get it? It's obviously better to be super-negative and think it's all bad writing even though there is more evidence to support it being very interesting writing!byne wrote...

I'll explain it to you like you're 12, since you're behaving like one. Like I said before, you're a part of this community whether you like it or not, help the community for the greater good by supporting a plea for a better ending, or answers at best, instead of wasting time speculating to no productive end.

i never said anything like that. go back a few hundred pages and youll see me telling everybody how we cant select what we want to hear. the thread has pretty muched decided that the community team is out of the loop in the developement process, meaning that even if priestly came in here and said IT is true, by our own logic we couldnt use it.I_eat_unicorns wrote...

also, im pretty sure the dream tile is the floor during the leviathan conversation, not sure though

And I'm the one who is acting like a 12 year old?
Has it ever once occurred to you that I simply dont agree with you? That maybe I'm not doing it to simply be a contrarian, but that I honestly disagree?
