1. The nose bleed texture.
The texture used in Leviathan is the exact same as the one used on Shepard post-Harby’s beam. It also pops up everywhere over the ending. It’s dotted throughout the files to do with the London Level long before it’s actually used on Shepard. It’s also still loaded post final choice, both before and after EC. It shows up in the London/ending files a grand total of 46 times before EC is installed and a further 34 times post-EC.

Now while these textures are very small in size, for a game where they were apparently struggling to fit everything on the disk they seem to waste a lot of space. Also while the textures are still loaded they disappear from Shepards face once you’re in the decision chamber, just like it does when you’re talking to Leviathan.
2. Suspicious file names used in Leviathan
One of the files to do with the level where you have to find Ann Bryson is called BioA_Lev003_160CollectorShip…
There is absolutely nothing to do with Collectors within this level, or in this DLC other than when Leviathan brings it up. MaximizedAction put forward the idea that it was a name used by some other content that they didn’t bother changing, except every other file used within Leviathan has a name that you would expect. BioA_Lev004_200Underwater for the level once you’ve dived down in the mech, BioD_Lev004_310EscapeScene once you’re back up on the surface and your squadmates get you into the shuttle, etc.
Makes me wonder if there is/was something to that Truth DLC rumour from a few months ago. Anyway I’m still going through the files, if I find anything else interesting I’ll post about it later.

Maybe he has someone on the inside. Didn't he mention having a contact at BioWare once?

Yes! Someone has finally started digging through the Leviathan files! I have wondered as well about whether they're going to bring back the Collectors some how. And since BioWare KNOWS how deeply we dig into the game files for anything out of the ordinary, they must have known that we would find this particular file. I wonder what else you'll find...

Reusing the bleeding asset is just a normal reuse, I don't feel there's significance to it.
Reusing the bleeding asset IS probably normal reuse. However, the presence of the nosebleed in both this sequence and the final sequence probably DOES have significance.

Is Synthesis making the Reapers win, and Control making the Leviathans win?
Ugh so confusing.

You have to extract all the files from the DLC's Default.sfar file using Gibbed's tools

Congratulations. The Shadow's overrated anyway IMO. It's fun to play a phantom for a while, but it's only really good against Cerberus. So-so against geth, weak against reapers because there's too many units that will make you quickly regret a shadow strike. And like any melee character, it's at a noticable handicap on gold/platinum.
So whoever's going through the Leviathan files, especially that bloody nose thing... this is a longshot but... does the bloody nose re-appear at the choice-o-matic when you pick destroy? Like the carnifex turns into a predator?

Go here http://svn.gib.me/builds/masseffect3/ and download the all-r89_b111.zip and use the Gibbed.MassEffect3.SFXArchiveUnpack to unpack the default.sfar file, it should unpack all of the pcc files. Then get umodel from here http://www.gildor.org/downloads to extract the files from the unpacked .pcc's, you should then be able to look through everything, textures, model, etc.

So what? Crazy thought: What if the end sequence isn't an indoctrination attempt in the same sense we were thinking, but instead it was Harbinger assuming control of Shepard like the Leviathans. Shepard would never suspect what was happening unless Harbinger revealed himself. Just like Shepard thought Ann in the leviathan sequence was actually her until leviathan revealed itself. This would also allow Shep to remember the encounter in destroy. It is important to note the leviathans have great controllablility in their indoctrination; Shepard remembers the sequence even though none of the others did. [/Crazy thought]paxxton wrote...

Difficult to say, the texture is still loaded within the file but it is for all of the choices. Without checking in the game to see if it's there I can't say for sure if it reappears.

if harbinger had leviathan indoctrination then harbinger would have no need to give shepard the choice-o-matic test. hed already have complete control over his bodyBansheeOwnage wrote...
