Heck, that point was reached a LONG time ago.  I mean, it's important to speculate (Wouldn't want the thread getting closed now, would we? ), but the people are what make this thread special.  We're the IT team.  Each one of us has his or her own view of things, giving each of us a slightly different perspective on things that we find.  And that's why we're special, if you ask me.

Didn't Leviathan say Reapers perfected indoctrination? I doubt that includes losing an already existing capability but as jgibson points out, if Harbinger could take control like Leviathan, why didn't he? Leviathan never actually physically controls Shepard, just his mind. If the Leviathan can control Shepard that seems to indicate Harbinger didn't use the same technique as Leviathan. I certainly understand Shepard being incorruptible and hence the need for the choice-o-matic instead of a single forced option, but Leviathan proves that Shepard can be mentally controlled, and depending on if TIM scene actually happens, physically controlled. Leviathan certainly can control everyone else. Again, I understand why Shepard can't be easily realigned to Reaper goals because of his moral character and strong will, but Leviathan doesn't play on fears and desires, it hacks right in.

Heck, you guys (Well, some of you, anyway.) ARE my friends that I game with.  I can count on my two hands (Heck, maybe ONE hand.) the number of people I know in person who are serious gamers.

Thanks, but Sword Mastery does in fact up SS damage. SS says "receives damage bonuses from melee" or something. If you don't believe me, just look at the damage in SS category, then uprgrade Sword Mastery and look at it. It will almost double. And the reason I don't use ES is mostly because the others are more useful/essential. ES doesn't really suit the kit either, considering it is a kit that uses asari tactics. Hit and run. Cloak, take out one unit undetected, finish off the surrounding ones, cloak, then repeat. Leave it to other teammates to kill hoardes. ES is also ranged, with is the opposite of eveything else in the kit. Compensation is generally worse than complementing.

And I guess you've had better team members than I have. Most of the time in random PUGs I'm either one of the few doing objectives and so I need to be have at least some range capability, or I spend most of the match soloing because I'm too impatient to to wait for 15 minutes just for another team member, in which case I need to be able to do some AOE damage.

I have a lot more in common with the people here than almost any I've met "in real life". (IRL is such a dumb thing IMO) I mean, why can't all people be like the IT thread. I guarantee you we would have been on Mars long before now if we were. Maybe even discoverd the Charon mass relay?  Seriously though, the people here are open to newcomers, don't often judge people on stupid things (internet ftw in this case), are very tolerant, and generally quite intelligent. We base our conlusions on what makes sense, not what we were told. We follow the evidence, regardless of where it leads. But we also will dismiss our theories if they are disproven.

Agreed. If it weren't for everyone here, I'd have moved on from Mass Effect long ago.

Pretty much the same here. Hanging around the IT thread is oddsome. So many friendly people with great ideas. And Mass Effect.

Yeah, randoms suck. Almost always. It's annoying having to carry your team no? I have a motto: A team of coordinated mediocre players will beat a team of uncoordinated skilled players.

What platform are you on?

PC. It probably wouldn't be so annoying on a different character, but I love the Shadow too much to switch.

It was rubbish at first but I thought the second half picked up a bit. I thought the (minor spoiler) Daleks having a parlaiment and prime minister was ludicrous though and I still can't get over it afterwards. It's just so... mad.

Hey guys/girls. BleedingUranium and I figured out a cool fun fact. Not IT related unless you count the analysis/specualtion. So we figured out there is actually a reaper weapon in MP/SP. The game begins: Guess which one!

The Reaper Blackstar is in single player. I dont know about multiplayer.
