Anyway, as crazy as the above idea is I felt that I should share it and see what happens...thoughts?

Whoa. I don't know. Probably not true, but very interesting.

Yeah, I'm thinking it is FAR too convoluted to be a viable idea.  I just want to figure out what the damn Crucible is haha.  Perhaps the Omega DLC that's rumoored will provide more details on that point

This may be a tall order, but since most of the rest of the forum doesn't even touch this thread, maybe someone needs to make a "How the Leviathan DLC Supports IT" thread with a presentation of what's been collectively found here?  If nothing else, it would get the word out so we don't have to deal with quite as many people not understanding the point.

So it finally hit me today that the galaxy search filter bit in Bryson's office was in fact a tongue-in-cheek jab at speculation and us IT'ers in general. The game has us using intelligent guesses posited by experts in the lore of the Mass Effect universe to build and overall working theory. Some of the speculations pay off (Leviathans need eezo) and some of the speculations do not (the Rachni probably weren't enthralled by the Leviathans, sorry, but it was a good sounding idea).

Yeah, I got the feeling the whole DLC was a nod to us. Maybe I'm being delusional I don't know. But everything about conspiracies and clues/speculation and the whole thing being about indoc kind of says something no? Regardless of the story of Leviathan.

Plus the main idea that all of the conspiracy ideas were trying to solve turned out to be true, even if some of the attempts themselves were red herrings.  Also seems very much like what IT could turn out to be

Am I correct in assuming you somehow know Spectre?

I mean, before he started his spamming, his activity feed was just joining BSN and adding you and BleedingUranium as friends.

If so, please slap some sense into him.

Thanks. :D

Quick errant thought based on some interviews and the feeling I kinda get through ME3... there was a tease that they tried to incorporate Indoctrination into the gameplay at some point and lately I've been playing again and noticed a feeling of "This Shepard wouldn't do that... why is Shepard saying that? Why can't I have more control here..." and started wondering... and foolishly hoping of course (bad mind... stop hoping!) that maybe they did incorporate it, but subtely throughout the game in a fashion most would simply take as railroading and poor design choices to appease the shooter base.

And then by the end when you are given fairly bad choices by an untrustworthy source, further culminating in a state in which my Shepard would not be in mentally, it just started making me wonder if IT actually is viable. Of course, all this is sadly overridden by the simple fear the Bioware just screwed up and forgot how to write an intelligent and coherent choice based game...

I still have this strange feeling of hope that the last bit of DLC will be the true endings that they've been waiting to release all along. . . validating the IT, or at least something along those lines.
