OK, I'm going to post a little hypothesis that I came up with last night in the shower.  http://social.biowar...0/blog/220828/  It's basically an explanation for how the Leviathans might think that synthetics and organics will always be in conflict without this actually being true.  I hope that it's actually a resonable hypothesis.

Reposting so Byne can see.

Edit: Woot!  Top of page!

I was starting to feel pretty down about the chances of IT ever coming to fruition last night. Jgibson talked me off the ledge. Thanks bro. So I went back and just replayed the end starting at the citadel and it reconfirmed at least one thing for me. There are a lot of clues that IT was intentional and I'm still keeping faith that Bioware knows what they're doing, weird as their behavior sometimes seems. Plus, you people are awesome and I just can't stay away!

You wouldn't need to stay away just because you're not an ITer. I think most people here would embrace everyone here who are friendly and smart, regardless of their allegiances.

We've put up with Epyon, afterall.

I didn't know he was a "literalist", as you'd call him.

Aww thanks. Posted Image Basically the same thing happens to me a lot. I have serious doubts, then replay the end, or remember the mountains of evidence we have and am confident again. That said I really hope they intended it. They've been really quiet.

It's not undisbutably correct, but people who reject it entirely are generally considered nutters.

I read about QM some time ago. It can get pretty bizarre. Poor kitty might die or live or both.

Ah, Schrodinger's Cat, the a perfect analogy for IT.  It's both true and false at the same time, and only when BioWare says once and for all whether it's true or not do we actually know for certain.

Well, Rin's route is probably the most difficult one to get, so thats understandable.

The word "theory" has different meaning to a scientist and a non-scientist. That is also why there exist jokes about gravity. No sane person would either doubt in the existence of gravity as a thing, nor would any sane person assume somone to doubt it.

To me, "theory" means a sufficient model/description of something that seems to exist. To others it seems to stand for something that is not completely proven and thus can be wrong. And depending on your political goals, it might even be only the latter. :D:whistle:

Not totally. Apparently, you somehow got my sister roped into KS and she's been playing it for quite a bit. I only just finished her 1st act.

However, my sister is really enjoying Hanako's route, though.

That's the thing though. Shrodinger's cat is wrong. The cat is dead or alive. One of the 2, not both. Just like IT is either wrong or right. Just because we don't know which one it is doesn't mean it's both. Logical fallacy.
