Sup guys!!! Could someone give me the quick version of the last 10 pages?!?! (I am serious...I skipped cause I was bored with the debate of "Is Shepard on the Citadel?")

EDIT - ON TOP!!! :o:innocent:

It also explaines why legion thought that reaper technology would make the geth truly alive.

Think about it - those data packages can be stored in two places - organic mind, and reaper technology (which actually made using organic one of its components) - so that makes reaper constracts, like artifacts, reapers, parts of reapers etc. = an artificial equvalent of an organic mind, in terms of content storage and compatability.

Naturally legion would just take the design behind the hardware to make the geth truly alive.

dermersel has a theory about how the Leviathans were harvested and that indoctrination is similar to or the same as uploading code into an organic mind.

Entirely possible...I even had an idea on the same track as his. All organic minds are living computors. The behave the same it's just the methods are different(ish). Organic use chemicals and electrical impulses. Synthetic just use electrical impulses.

the indoctrination is the real A.I. the leviathan's created. - thats a short a simplified version of it.

They created a way of conditioning.

This conditioning, when comined with an organic mind creates an A.I.  (which was unforseen by them) Later as the process became more and more refined, and evolved - that became what we know now as indoctrination.

indoctrination - some sort of data packages, accepted by organic mind.

data packages + organic mind = creates a new personality, in this mind, the A.I. the organic mind becomes hardware for it.

Reapers - A.I. using a computer arrey of infinite minds connected together as hardware. Each on a nation.

Read the ME1 article on the A.I.

I'd go one step further and say that the Leviathans use infrasonic and ultrasonic sound to do the same thing and it evolved from a form of echolocation, like dolphins and whales.

And the ending of ME3 - Shepard defeating indoctrination by refusing to accept the data packages. and become replaced by new identity.

Which is kinda of a HUGE deal. .

well in control and synthesis. In destruction, the signal and upload would be interrupted, if I'm getting your analogy.

Yes, those packages can be transmitted via infra and ultrasound - both can cause permanent changes in brain and tissue structure. (in real life. Medical Ultrasonography is actually a very dangereus procedure. and they use ultrasound to desintegrate kidney stones).

Which explains the nosebleeds. Reaper indoctrination is more poweful but also more destructive.

why? Actually quite the opposite - in control and synthesis your brain patterns are permanently changed and aliegned with the indoctrination code - a new personality is born, that replaces the old one (i.e. the player) - in control they even straight tell you that.

Refuse has you fall into a permanent catatonic coma. Irreparable brain damage. (or it takes to much time for the indoctrination to actually form the patterns, and your body dies, or gets destroyd in real life, you were in the middle of a fight after all  - tell my that does not look familiar www.youtube.com/watch)

On that I have to stop you. They "control" by using pheromones at short range and an organic type of QEC at long range. (info from Leviathan DLC) No sound is used.

Also got my notes from Leviathan DLC (forgot about them :/) and there are interesting things.

- In a locked room off of the main path for continuing the story on the mining colony there were 2 datapads with dates and interesting messages. The first was dated 12 / 23 (december 23) and was about not getting messages (info). The next was dated 1/15 and dealt with the issue that they were decommissioning the facility. Hmmm....

- There was the unsheilded Leviathan device on the Citadel near the presidium for an unknown amount of time...

Those were a couple of the more interesting ones...thoughts?

More is coming. That one is for sure.

Sure the leviathans use different method.

But reaper indoctrination does use the infrasaund and ultrasound.

ah I must have not been paying attention at that part. The citadel one is obvious. We've been saying for a long time that there seems to be a pacifying agent on the citadel.

Yes. Sorry. Didn't read it right the first time.

Yes in destroy the signal would not only be interrupted, but completely purged. By refusing accept new patterns.

Which can really be used by the reapers indirectly - the remaining leviathan's could be partially indoctrinated into thinking that there is no point in resisting, since there is nothing that can be done.

TJ, please check out the links to the wikipedia i posted few pages back They are about the Omega Point, Pierre Teihlard de Chardin, and the fictional planet Krikkit

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omega_Point

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pierre_Teilhard_de_Chardin

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krikkit#Krikkit

I think they are very relevant to what we are discussing here, and what Mass Effect may be all about.

From the wikipedia article about planet Krikkit, fictional planet from a book "Life Universe and Everything" part III of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy five part trilogy.
__________
The planet Krikkit is (at the beginning of the novel Life, the Universe and Everything) located in a dust cloud composed chiefly of the disintegrated remains of the enormous spaceborne computer Hactar. Hactar was originally created by the Silastic Armorfiends of Striterax to design the Ultimate Weapon. Hactar produced a very, very small bomb that, when activated, would connect every star to every other star, cause them to all go supernova simultaneously and, thus, destroy the universe. The bomb proved dysfunctional because Hactar had designed it with a tiny flaw, reasoning that no consequence could be worse than that of setting the bomb off. The Silastic Armorfiends disagreed and destroyed Hactar.
Due to the dust cloud, the sky above Krikkit was completely black, and thus the people of Krikkit led insular lives and never realised the existence of the Universe. With the population thus prepared, Hactar, disintegrated but still functional, built and crashed a model spaceship onto Krikkit in order to introduce its inhabitants to the concept of the Universe. Secretly guided by Hactar, the Krikkiters built their first spaceship, Krikkit One, penetrated the dust cloud, and surveyed the Universe before them. Unbeknownst to the Krikkiters, Hactar had been subliminally conditioning their minds to the point where they could not accept a Universe into their world view with the intention of putting them into a similar mindset to that of the Silastic Armorfiends. Sooner or later, they would require an Ultimate Weapon, and this would allow Hactar to finally complete his purpose, something he had felt considerably guilty about not doing before. Upon first witnessing the glory and splendor of the Universe, they casually, whimsically, decided to destroy it, remarking, "It'll have to go." Aided again by the mind of Hactar, the Krikkiters built an incredible battlefleet and waged a massive war against the entire Universe. The Galaxy, then in an era of relative peace, was unprepared, and spent the next 2,000 years fighting the Krikkiters in war that resulted in about two "grillion" casualties.

Yes they were. Also notice they were pretty much the only things in the room other than an attachment (which isn't important enough to get a separate room for). It was almost like BioWare was pointing and suggesting "THESE ARE IMPORTANT!!!".

Hey fellas, did anything happen with that panel type deal we should have today? Or was it random BS?
