She doesnt, although most people think she should have had one.

She's one of the most popular side characters, even though she's only in like two scenes.

When Gamble says ME3 is the end of Shepards story, it still leaves the door open for DLC that is for ME3.

There is still hope.

Jesus, The best laid plans.....

This isn't state secrets. This is a game. There is one and ONLY one reason for not commenting, and that is more content coming.

The only reason for this stonewalling is that there will be a reveal. There are hundreds of people who work ME. Why wouldn't they want to start talking more about it?

EDIT: unannounced content would need to be secret for business reasons. Companies don't like letting that kind of data out early.

Sup guys!! Had some interesting thoughts in my chemistry class and followed them up. I was remembering the mining facility in Leviathan and the guy who kept repeating, "Do you know the applications of tungsten?" (something like that) Well look what I found!! :

"The unalloyed elemental form is used mainly in electrical applications. Tungsten's many alloys have numerous applications, most notably in incandescent light bulb filaments, X-ray tubes (as both the filament and target), electrodes in TIG welding, and superalloys. Tungsten's hardness and high density give it military applications in penetrating projectiles. Tungsten compounds are most often used industrially as catalysts."

I also had an idea of something to look up. You know how elements are present a lot in the Mass Effect Universe? Well has anyone tried to convert them into their elemental letter and see if there is a message??

Just some thoughts.... =]

While there is hope for the IT theory yet. Looks like Shepards future post ME3 is well and truly over.

The only frustrating thing is that it is clear that there are non-literal parts of this ending. We want explanations on what the "artist" was going for.

At this point, I honestly don't get it. ME3 is at the point where talking more about it (and these details) shouldn't detract from the only thing that matters: Sales. (and sales of multi-player consumables.)

I still want to know how Shepard's story ends. I hope that gets delivered, even if only in DLC. This may be the last game for Shepard, but the ending presented so far is not a thematic ending to the story. Without a final conflict and clear victory, there is no ending of this story. Having endings that feel wrong, like we're being manipulated, it's pretty cool, but that still leaves the desire to know how the story ends.

Holy s**t! Just made a connection. The latest operation before the Leviathan DLC was Operation Alloy. Well tungsten is also used widely in alloys. Particularily in the military...

"The hardness and density of tungsten are applied in obtaining heavy metal alloys. A good example is high speed steel, which can contain as much as 18% tungsten. Tungsten's high melting point makes tungsten a good material for applications like rocket nozzles, for example in the UGM-27 Polarissubmarine-launched ballistic missile.[46] Superalloys containing tungsten, such as Hastelloy and Stellite, are used in turbine blades and wear-resistant parts and coatings."

Or...

The Reapers create a quantum bubble in which ME1 starts with Shepard as Captain and Udina as XO. Posted Image

But seriously Captain is better because Admiral sits behind a desk.

So Tali got promoted to Admiral only for being loyal and her dad was an admiral. But Shepard after surviving indoctrination and almost death he only gets the rank of Captain...yeah.... <_<

I think he is more just excited about figuring out the connection.

We get happy when we figure something out, even if it doesn't have to do with IT really.

That's some mighty fine straw clutching with operation alloy.

Regardless though, I really don't care anymore if we're not going to find out what really happened at the end.

ME3 is probably the biggest disappointment in many years in AAA gaming (Duke Nukem Forever doesn't count, nobody expected that to be good).

What happened to "one more story"?
That was literally the last three words of the whole ****ing game.

I corrected my joke because paxx reminded me that there is the rank of a Captain standing between a Commander and an Admiral. But it looks like Tali gives a legitimate example.

Admiral it is then! :P

Being an Admiral in the Migrant Fleet is different from being an Admiral in the Systems Alliance, though.

Either way, after saving the galaxy three times, they'd probably come up with a brand new rank for Shepard, and she'd be the only one who will ever get it.

Sorta both the fact I found a connection and that there now is a possible explaination of the name of the operation. Regarding to IT....it could mean there is more than meets the eye on the matter of tungsten....though I have to agree it is a bit of a stretch.

I still think they cant keep the story ambiguous forever. Even with BladeRunner they eventually revealed what was really going on. The speculations and the ambiguity are the only ways to keep people interested in ME3 and not just playing it, beating it, and forgetting it. The end result of months, perhaps a year+ of speculation is a revealing of the truth. Otherwise there is no point to the speculations.

What an Admiral does in the Systems Alliance?

I've just read your post on tungsten. So the missing component of the Crucible is fuel with tungsten additive.
