Was the Ending a Hallucination? - Indoctrination Theory Mark III!

Here's the comments in Chronological order.
Me: "Although ME didn't have a storyline covering Shepard's indoctrination, it does however show Shepard being exposed to Reaper Indoctrination and showing symptoms of it throughout ME2 and ME3. Something which smudboy seems to not know.
Just look at this vid.
watch?v=4S3YW5cKrSQ"
smodboy: "Shepard, and others, are exposed to various Reaper artifacts in ME2 and ME3. However, Vendetta is very clear: no one in the party is indoctrinated. Shepard and co. are not showing any symptoms."
Me: "IT states that Shepard has been exposed to the indoctrination process, being attacked with indoctrination attempts on his mind, NOT that he is already indoctrinated. He only becomes indoctrinated if he chooses Control/Synthesis. It's unbelievable how many Non-ITers make this mistake."
smudboy: "Speculation, followed by nonsense. It is more unbelievable how gullible, or to guess what fantasy world you live in."
Me: "Part 2 And Vendetta can only detect those who have already been indoctrinated, not those who have been exposed to the indoctrination process. This is why Vendetta and the other Prothean VIs did not detect that the Prothean splinter group (which wanted to control the Reapers instead of destroy them) were indoctrinated until it was too late. Again IT states that Shep has been exposed to the Indoctrination process, NOT that he's already indoctrinated. Check my vid and you'll see what I say is true."
smudboy: "No. Shepard either is or isn't indoctrinated. Same with Benezia, Shiala, and the Salarians on Virmire. You either are pregnant or not; not "sort of" pregnant. ME1 is very clear on this. IT is an interpretative pile, so I have no interest in wasting time on a delusion."
Me: "Anyone with a powerful mental strength can resist indoctrination. Benezia was one of them before she realized she couldn't hold it back any longer and used her powers to make a "haven" in her mind free of indoctrination, which trapped her within her mind until she was injured. Point is, you can be exposed to indoctrination and still not be indoctrinated. Just like you can be exposed to smoking, but not develop cancer. This is what Shepard has been experiencing, which you seem to want to deny."
smudboy: "So? The only exception to not being indoctrinated was Shiala, due to the Thorian. Shepard was just as "indoctrinated" as any of his colleagues were.
Point is, you're indoctrinated, or you're not. You either have cancer, or you don't.
There is no evidence of Shepard experiencing the effects of indoctrination. He is exhibiting no symptoms that Benezia described, nor behaving like the Solarians on Virmire. Vendetta did not detect it.
You are deluded."
Me: "In-game evidence proves you wrong.
Shepard was exposed to a Reaper vision with a subliminal message, electromagnetic waves, and infrasonic noise in Arrival DLC.
He sees ghostly "presences", hears Reaper noise in the background, whispers of indoctrination, and infrasonic sound in all three Dreams.
He also shows symptoms, of betraying friends (Mordin, Wrex, Legion), trusting enemies (TIM inthe Catalyst convo.), and viewing the Reaper with superstitious awe (boy as Catalyst).
Read Indoc. codex"
Calling me delusional for having a different interpretation of ME3's ending is silly, biased, and closed-minded of him.

Being an Admiral in the Migrant Fleet is different from being an Admiral in the Systems Alliance, though.
Either way, after saving the galaxy three times, they'd probably come up with a brand new rank for Shepard, and she'd be the only one who will ever get it.
According to the data mined from the games beta leak, Shepard would get named Lord Protector of the Galaxy by the Council as a reward for being right all-along and being generally awesome.
That title may conjure unpleasant images for the Irish or anyone familiar with English history, but it's still a damn cool title.

I would assume that by that point the English language will have finished eliminating all the female-gendered variants of job names and titles and turned all the male-gendered versions into non-gendered. For example, no more waitresses, only waiters; no more actresses, only actors; etc....

uhhhhhhhhhhh NO. that ambguity, combined with gambles last tweet is exactly why im washing my hands of this. i know hes said the same thing before, but in this context it means exactly what ive feared since the EC. it ****ing sucks, but its pretty obvious now that its over. i think its fact that at some point they intended IT, but i have no idea why they would drop it. anything could happen, but the chances are so unbelievably low that i refuse to be a part of anything EA or BioWare from here on out. im done.GethPrimeMKII wrote...
I still think they cant keep the story ambiguous forever. Even with BladeRunner they eventually revealed what was really going on. The speculations and the ambiguity are the only ways to keep people interested in ME3 and not just playing it, beating it, and forgetting it. The end result of months, perhaps a year+ of speculation is a revealing of the truth. Otherwise there is no point to the speculations.

They say a lot of things unambiguously that end up being proven false later.
Chris denied a MP DLC that got leaked, and it turned out the leak was right a weak later.
They won't confirm or deny something big over twitter, regardless.
I can't blame anyone for being sick of it though. I personally care enough to get my hopes up, but not enough to be crushed if they are unfulfilled.

Jessica said something that would supposedly deny IT.
Now, I'm going to just ignore Jessica, as she the community manager, and not likely to be in the know about any future plans, especially if they want them kept secret. I like her, but she's not exactly reliable.
When asked about this, Gamble simple said "we've said countless times that me3 is the end of commander shepards story. Im not going to comment further."
So its the typical vague Gamble speak we're all used to, neither confirming or denying anything, yet people are freaking out about it.

Spotlessvoid linked Mike Gamble some of Jessica Merizan's posts about how we weren't getting any more ending stuff and Mike just reiterated what he always says about how ME3 is the end of Shepard's story.
