I'd sooner stick my head between my legs and attempt to kiss my own arse before I would Clevernoob's.

I'm also lazy.

Indoctrination itself - is true enemy, and the A.I. leviathans created.

Automated enthrallment set on "Preserve life at all cost"

Mass effect codex A.I. article saying basicly the same thing -
According to it A.I. = set of  data packagex + quantum blue box (which in cese of indoctrination - organic mind)
Data packages are not A.I. by itself, A.I. cannot be transferred to another blue box. But data packages can. When taken to a new blue box they will form a new A.I. persoanlity.

Sounds similar to Simon's "Selfish Meme" theory. Might wanna look that one up.

It's an interesting theory but i feel it's far too convoluted to be Bioware's intention. simple indoctrination has been the most prevalent theme throughout the series, an idea which a broad spectrum of fans may easily grasp.

Same. I've always been a fan of game/film music and the ME franchise is definately one of my favourites

In other words, this is my statement on the whole mess.

It's not the end of the world. And stop treating it like it is. Things look bad now, but there's always ALWAYS the future to consider.

Some of you might find that way of hoping for a better tomorrow to be a bit weird, but, well, look at it this way.

It's what kept me from killing myself a long time ago. And I say that with all honesty. I would not be here today, if I didn't think like that.

My god how the thread has been lacking your posts. At least it did for me.

You sir, are truly a rational and optimistic person. Do they make Tickle-Me-Arians so that I can have daily dose of optimism to start those grim days of mine? I surely could use one of these these last few weeks.

In any case, thanks for being so awesome and good to have you back!

I feel bad for you! I find the best way to get fit is just cycle everywhere. You don't even know you're exercising until you get off and it's the most fun thing you can do ever! :D

I prefer jogging, but to each our own, today she pushed me way too far in the gym though, but who's to say no to some smoking hot instructor? ;), anyway totally uninteresting and offtopic, time to chill out and stalk the forums ;)

That's just stupid.  Deckard's biology being speculative had a deeper moral point: you're supposed to ask yourself "if we can't figure it out, then maybe the two aren't so different?"  There's no deeper meaning to intended IT without closure.  It's just BW's writers trying to be deep and sucking like holy hell at it.  More importantly, the fate of trillions of lives doesn't depend on Deckard's biology.  Without post-breath scene content, the Reapers are never dealt with in IT.  Some things can be ambiguous.  Whether the galactic genocide monsters are stopped is NOT one of them.  That is not negotiable.

It's implied that we will win...
You need everything spoonfed to you...

Spoonfed?  The point of a story is to tell what happens, you moron.  I don't know what you do for a living, but it's sure as hell not creative writing if you think building up an 6 year saga and then pulling the plug on the final battle and going "lol use ur imagination" is even in the same supercluster as acceptable.

Arian Dynas wrote...

If IT is true, then there's more story. So? WE WAIT FOR MORE OF THE ****ING STORY. We knew there is SOME kind of story coming along. There literally has to be. EA would be insane not to, and this we already KNOW is a franchise EA is pushing like a heroin dealer on a street corner.

And everyone, get off the "insult to the fanbase" ****, I am sick of seeing it for one. It's only an insult to the fanbase if they say "Ha ha, you guys suck, since you care about people who don't really exsist. **** you!"

It's a cliffhanger. So knock it off.

We're speaking on the assumption that they don't make anymore to explain what happens, whether it be DLC or ME4. I don't believe that's what will happen. But if it DOES, then everyone has every right to say it's an insult to the fanbase. Because it is. It's a spit in the face, it's a slap in the face, it's the worst betrayal on loyal fans I've seen in 25 years of gaming.

So no.

Btw, how is it implied to us that we will win?
If anything, then quite the opposite is implied. For example, refuse -- which in my opinion shows Shepard in his former glory -- sure as hell doesn't imply a win scenario -- it would if there'd be DLC coming that will expand on that ending, but if there's no such DLC happening, there is nothing implied, except that the Reapers are right and everyone else, except for the bad guys, was wrong from the very start.

And even if it is implied we win, it's not implied HOW.  The biggest question has always been "how can we beat the Reapers?"  And aside from the Crucible, which is almost guaranteed to be a trap, there's nothing even hinted at.

But yeah, "you won... maybe.  how?  use your imagination, what do you think I am, a writer?" is a totally acceptable ending.  Only in Bill Casey's twisted mind.

So #WINNING in the same way that the Protheans won (see Javik), or the Leviathans won (see Leviathan)? :wizard:

Stargazer only proves that being on the moon doesn't do wonders for one's voice acting abilities.  For all we know (and it was heavily hypothesized at the time), that's just a race in a future cycle that found one of Liara's capsules.
