One other thing - there is an awfull lot of indoctrinated persons in ME3 - like that crazy Hanar, who tried to hack his homeworld defence - what's been indoctrinating people all around? There must be a source, or sources..

The Hanar got his tentacles on a Reaper artifact, that is revealed as you track him down.

Don't you get to see the fake vid only if Kai Leng succeded in killing the Counselor? :?

And from whom did he get the video if not from Kai Leng/Cerberus?

from citadel security feed, which was hacked by cerberus, but he might have been unaware of this fact.
I don't know who he got it from. And neither do you. Cerberus sending him a video doesn't make that much sense either.

Bailey explains it when you talk to him after te coup attempt

"We can't even get an ID on him. He released a VI into the Citadel's system that erased footage of him wherever he went."
"Probably the same VI that got doctored footage of you to Udina so fast. Whoever this guy is, he's a pro."

Also in Cronos station there's a vid of Tim telling Kai Leng to speak to Udina because he is "amenable".

Note, that i don't say that Udina haven't worked with cerberus in the past. All i'm saying that hhe might not be involved in thee coup.

I can't see TIM risking Shepard's identity with tech that could possibly indoctrinate her when he wanted to keep who she was intact.

I think it's laughable that anyone thinks Shepard DOESN'T have Reaper tech in him. They went out of their way to tell us how impossible bringing Shepard back was by all known medical science. Then all of a sudden with no real explanation, they can do it. And we have Miranda ****ing about all the black boxes on the project. What would TIM be hiding from her except Reaper tech? Here's a fun line from Anderson: "That'd be my guess, given what they were able to do with you and Grayson. It's a safe bet Leng's even more dangerous now." There's three people in this comparison. Shepard, Grayson, and Leng. What do they all have in common... Hmmm...

The problem is people using that to argue that TIM could use the possible reaper tech in Shepard's body to control him, ignoring the fact that TIM was also controlling the body of Anderson, who has no reaper tech implants.

Again. That only tells you that he owes cerberus a favour. He could have helped then get on the citadel, not knowing what they were going to do - that means he was not in on the coup thing. As far as he knew they were just moving some cargo through c-sec customs. Might have not have any idea they would try to take over the citadel.

They what?  They're arguing that IT isn't true because Shepard is full of Reaper tech?  That's kinds of retarded that I don't even know how to describe!

He might have been even afraid that cerberus might trying to assasinating him - that would explain why he wanted Ashley made spectre, and be his private bodyguard - After Shepard, (who is known to have connections with cerberus, besides) - she is the next best thing - she was with shepard in ME1. took soverign down with him, AND destroyed lots' of cerberus bases.

At any rate - amendable sounds as if he was forced into helping them.
And he is sure panicking during the coup to the point of desperation - - he is afraid for his life.

Good point. I say Omega and Citadel DLC will show us what really happened. The coup being a diversion for something bigger.

This is heavy speculating:
Did no one else wonder how the Citadel was moved to Earth? It was ... like that, "alakazham, the Citadel is gone"! Maybe Cerberus activated... something to move it or give the reapers control over its systems.

Relays is my guess.

My guess is the Cerberus coup was intended to take control of the Citadel to hand it to the Reapers.

Look at it this way, if the Reapers attack full frontal without someone on the station with enough power to reach the controls, the Citadel security can simply close the station and lock the Reapers out. Considering that even the most powerful weapons in our arsenals take days to even dent the Citadel armor it is safe to say the Reapers would have their hands full cutting their way through even though they created the station.

So they need someone onboard to prevent that from happening. That is what i think the Cerberus coup attempted.

As for later...well maybe they had Indoctrinated someone high ranking enough or it was TIM who went to the Citadel before we could catch him at Chronos according to Vendetta...but I am very hesitatnt to trust a word out of that VI´s mouth.

1) It seems that TIM has a particular distrust of Liara and really wants to dissuade Shepard from teaming up with her.  Evidence of this: he flat out lies about what she's doing when Shepard asks about her in ME 2.  TIM claims that she works for the Shadow Broker... for a guy with such an intricate web of information, I find it hard to believe that his spies messed up there.  Cerberus passing Liara intel about the Shadow Broker through Shepard later in the game is further proof that his agents have known about her battle for some time.

As for the first - liara was an information broker. Yes she was trying to find shadow broker. But that doesn't mean that she wasn't unknowingly forking FOR him at the same time. In fact is very much likely. Remember - barla von says that half of the people who work for shadow broker has no idea they are in fact working for him, or for somebody at all for that matter.

So i think illusive man telling you that liara works for shadow broker was actually true. :D

I think Barla Von said that information brokers didn't know who the Broker was.  They were aware that he employed them.  And regardless, the Illusive Man knows that Liara is not on good terms with the Broker.  Trying to dissuade Shepard from teaming up with her at all seems suspicious.

In fact, he probably only leaks the Shadow Broker's location to Shepard and Liara because it was an opportunity that the Illusive Man couldn't ignore.  And what does the LotSB debriefing say?  "Watch the asari's relationship with Shepard closely."

I honestly think that the Illusive Man views Liara as a very threatening figure who, teamed up with Shepard, would threaten many of his carefully laid plans. Such as the Citadel coup attempt.  Which, by the way, was being planned long before the Reaper invasion.  Commander Bailey's comic story implies that Executor Pallin knew Udina was a threat to the Council.

Again, this means that Cerberus likely had other reasons for attacking the Citadel besides destabilizing the Resistence

Hey Guys I'm back and done with my moving. Just played Leviathan. Something I did not see covered is relation to the DLC/MP timeline in regards to the ME3 single player storyline.

According to the conspiracy website linked with the Levianthan DLC release: http://conspiracyacc...ue.blogspot.ca/

Look at the banner. Udina's invovlement with Cerberus is still just a conspiracy. After Cerberus tried to take over the citadel everyone knew about Udina,  so in the single player storyline we are still
pre-Cerberus coup.
We still have a ways to go people.

That also means Leviathan should be played prior to the coup. Also, Leviathan seems to be DLC for Act 1. There might be 2 more - for Act 2 and Act 3.

Hmm, you might be right with your Act 1 and Act 2 DLC interpretation.  But the website doesn't necessarily mean that it is taking place at the same moment that the MP currently is.  Wasn't there an ANN tweet about Thessia falling?

Summing up my case: The conspiracy site could be establishing the "canon" time for the DLC and not setting the current timeframe of the ME universe

also does not make sense to play it early from a game play point of view - there are ravagers and banshees - I played it before tuchanka missions, and before a rachnni mission - but still presence of ravageres and banshee's is not questioned or commented on.

Dunno about the tweet. But it seems Plim's blog is more about Leviathan DLC than ANN. The Network is a more general news provider.

What about Act 3 DLC?

I don't think that SP DLC and MP timelines coincide but it looks like we have a full half-year worth of OPs ahead of us cause BioWare said it'd support ME3 for a year since its release.

While we're on the topic of DLC, what do you guys think we'll get as far as DLC squadmates.
