I strongly disagree. Combat in ME3 is superior. Added moves make it seamless. When I went back to ME2 to catch up with DLCs, it seemed so tedious to fight enemies.demersel wrote...

Wanna see some cool ME2 infiltrator gameplay by me? ))
If only to remind yourself what it was like in ME2 and how much ME3 SP combat sucks in comparison...

A cinematic kicks in where Kenson is ordering the staff to take Shepard away. She has flashlights in her eyes.Ace7 wrote...
hhhmmmm, watching that video....that shepard doesn't fire upon object rho, the pulse is blue, there's a bit of a white flash and then there's a red screen. i can't find a video to see what happens next....... anybody know?

Yup. But you don't have to fight at all. Shepard isn't killed by the "security" thugs but taken into custody.Ace7 wrote...

Ah, I am hella confused here, the video i posted above is actually a critical failure am I right?
Should the player have shot at the object and thus leading to the Kenson cinematic?

Probably by the same method Sovereign used a projection of himself on Virmire to communicate with Shepard.Ace7 wrote...

Also, how did Harby transmit his holographic image to Shepard at the end of Arrival? Through object Rho or Implants? I wonder...

Shepard just opened a comm channel to contact the Normandy when Harbinger appears and addresses him. So there goes the "sound mystery". Shepard is standing close to a terminal, there are parabolic dishes around, it's not like they are in plain desert... In many instances, the Reaper "tech" is praised to have properties well beyond what the current species' technology is capable of. I wonder why, for communication purposes, suddenly, the Reapers should use conventional systems? Do you propose that, since we are not shown the "precise" device responsible for this transmission, it is inevitably because of indoctrination properties?Raistlin Majare 1992 wrote...

Nah there it makes sense for a communications projector to be in place. It is Sarens private area of the base so it would make sense that a communicator with Soverign was in place there. Also Sovereign opens the conversation by saying "you are not Saren" indicating he did not expect Shepard and co to be the ones standing there.
In Arrival it makes no sense for a communicator to be there, even if we are next to the communications relay. We are in open space, it makes no sense to put a communicator there not to mention the place Harbinger appears looks more like a small landing pad.
Finally if it is not in Shepards mind then Harbinger somehow has direct acess to Shepards radio since Shepard should not be able to hear Harbinger otherwise...would actually have made for a kinda fun scene.
Harbingers hologram blinking as he speaks and Shepard just standing there not hearing anything.
Shepard - "Can anyone tell me what is up with this pulsating Reaper holo?"
EDI - "It seems to be trying to communicate with you"
Joker - "Then maybe someone should have told them sound dont exactly travel well through space. Pinnacle of evolution, hah."

IT seems highly probable. I'd like to see it confirmed or at least officially hinted at by the end of 2013.elitehunter34 wrote...
Figured I'd jump in here for a bit. I'm just surprised people are still talking about IT, especially after nearly 5,000 friggan pages. Jesus. Anyways, before the EC came out I was really hoping that Bioware would go with some form of IT. Obviously that's not what they intended and they only want us to headcanon it. Does anyone here really think that Bioware will actually make some sort of content that confirms some form of IT (I really like The Twilight God's version) sometime in the future? The odds just seem to keep going down sadly.
