If there is going to be something like project X - it is going to be free. No way around it.

Why set up all the speculation and drama to not sell the #1 thing that people would buy right now? If there was a epilogue DLC I am certain every single person with internet would buy that in a heartbeat. No matter the price if at 20$ or lower. (No one complained that Minecraft was 20$ when it came out and it sold like hot cakes.) It would be like the excitement of the EC but 100 times greater. No way EA or BioWare would allow an epilogue DLC not to be sold for money.

Guys... it was a joke about the fact that "Omega" means "last."

Project X would be an Awakening sized expansion, so no way it's going to be free, I'm still quite convinced there's nothing to that rumor though

Ok. Maybe you're right. But the "hold on to your copies of ME3 forever" part tells me you're wrong.

It has a plethora of meanings: http://en.wikipedia....(disambiguation)

EDIT: The link doesn't work because of the closing bracket.

ME3 ending as it is now reminds of Twin Peaks a lot.

Chris Priestly: "I think everybody is pleased with how the game has come to a conclusion, so far... ....still more to dlc to come that will keep the story going for commander Shepard...there's still mass effect to be written...."

Jessica Merizan: As far as we're stating this is the end of Shepard's story...you never know, 3 years from now something might change in the universe...but for now, we're telling people this is the end of Shepard's story, we still have sp dlc that will expand on that....Mike Gamble on twitter said that people should keep their saved games but I think that's as far as we can go with that"

Mike Gamble said to keep your saved games because that's as far as we can go with that? That doesn't even make any sense. If she's saying that he said that because they might come up with something, that's a lie, because he said "if you knew what we had planned" so it's not something changing 3 years from now it has to be in the playbook.

Still don't have much hope. Their phrasing is weird, but I'm not defending them anymore. Just pointing it out

Eh, that marketing talk. First they say the end, then they add but.

I wonder if that marketing scheme isn't a bit disconnected from reality. Everybody knows that it'd be crazy to end Mass Effect and Shepard's story atm. But BioWare is so cautious as if it was a great secret.

I believe he was referring to EC when he said that. It could, of course, apply to any future DLC; that was just the impression I got at the time. Jessica seems to be out of the loop about some things, so it's possible they either are trying to keep a big reveal a secret until it's actually complete, or they really don't have quite such long-term plans. Either way, even if things change soon, it doesn't mean they won't change again in 3 years.
