I don't really know what this means, if it doens't simply mean they didn't think Shepard could find them.

It sounds really symbolic to me, but I think it can be interpreted "literrally," or what have you. I just think it is too epic and deep of a phrase to simply mean "betcha can't find me!" :pinched:

Probably. Actually, it may have something to do with indoctrination. The victims of enthrallment said if "darkness" was a feeling, that's what they felt. If Shepard breached "the darkness" that could mean she is somewhat resistant to indoctrination!

Edit: As soon as I get back I'm on top! That's just how I like it. Where's Estebanus?!

I*ve never tried blueberry pie before! Let's see how that turns out tasting like...

Also, I'm his sister again. Estebanus is working again. He's currently working on proving that a book he read is nothing but plagiarism from "1984."

Blueberry pie! Awesome! And hello Estebanusister. Posted Image Would you like to see what I wrote about the extended cut? I have to warn you though; it's rather long. Posted Image

Edit: That's weird. What's the other book? (I've probably never heard of it anyway.)

I always figured "the darkness" was just the Leviathans describing their current underwater environment.

This is also corroborated by the mind controlled victims feeling a sensation of "cold and darkness"

Last page I suggested it may be a reference to breaking (or resisting) indoctrination.

So it probably wasn't a good idea to have it shipped to my cabin then?

Probably not. Even if it doesn't inject nanides, it still isn't a good idea.

The only reason I agreed to have it delivered to the Normandy was because I didn't know I'd have it in my cabin. I thought James wanted it and would have it down in the in the shuttle bay to watch him do pull ups.

I go back to my cabin to unwind, look on my desk and I'm all like, "VEEEEGGGAAAAAAAAA!!!".

That's hilarious! :D Because that's definitely not why I go down there. I hate how you have to flirt with him all the time :/

Just got a radical idea. You know the confusion of Low EMS choices being constricted to the decision in ME2 of saving or destroying the base?

Well from a IT perspective it could be that Anderson (or some soldier) does in fact deal with TIM (or Cerberus) and what choice you made decides who lives that encounter. The survival of the base is the deciding factor. Something like if the base survived TIM got tech that could put a fight in his favor. If he doesn't get the base then he is at an disadvantage. Then the person who survives would go and choose what their goal was. So Anderson (or Alliance soldier) would choose Destroy like in the ReaperVision™ and TIM (or Cerberus person) would choose Control.

Just some thoughts.... ;)

Some of the Vega dialogue seemed really awkward for my male Shep.  I was really caught off guard when Vega visits Shepard's cabin to talk about becoming an N7 and Shepard tells Vega "the bed's harder than it looks."  Posted Image

Ha I didn't know maleshep said that too. That's very odd. I definitely feel like I am watching my Shep in ME3 a lot more than ME1/2 though. Which kind of pisses me off. I wouldn't mind the flirting lines if I chose to say them. Seriously I'm already in a relationship with Liara, so my Shep starts flirting with other squadmates? And you can't even have James as an LI anyway! (Not that I would.) [/rant] Posted Image

I don't know; I can't keep up as well as I used to here. I made a wall of text a couple days ago, if you missed that. We also discussed Asari mind-rape, pie (at the same time Posted Image) and the annoyance of having to flirt with James. Posted Image

I know what you mean.  The watching Shepard feel only really annoyed me at moments where he really seemed to break character.

Another weird squad moment: My male Shep was also in a relationship with Liara and everyone seemed to acknowledge this at some level.  EXCEPT Kaidan.  He just comes on to my Shepard at the cafe, completely out of nowhere.  What boggles my mind is that Ashley did not do this at the cafe meet up when I was with Liara.  You'd think Kaidan would find it within himself to respect Sheaprd's love life haha

I've come up with a better reason explaining Leviathan's motives than the Omega Point, which sounds a bit New Agey. But the Singularity might be what the Leviathans wanted to prevent lesser species from achieving. You know, when man and machine intertwine to form a new superspecies. This is actually a valid prospect for humanity sometime in the next 100 years (and as early as 2045).

It's a bit inconsistent. Kaidan does say something about this after Thessia though, I think.

Are we all Liaramancers here? B)

Does the flirting also occur if you say the no nicknames line after the sparring?
