If they wanted to go for nihilism, they could have done it with far greater emotional impact. As it is, it's neither deep, sad, thought provoking, or shocking. It's just stupid. Stupiderest. Of course, there is this little theory some of you may have heard of

Edit: Stupiderest: Stupider than stupidest

About the ending I wouldn't mind Shep dying but not like that, not alone like the first time. Liara is young she could find someone, IDK I think I've seen to many Hollywood movies.

I was thinking the same thing. Shepard already died once, and it devastated Liara. Having that happen again is... heartless. At least being with her would help. Shepard is the only person Liara has ever been interested in. Having Shepard die in all endings (or as good as) seems incredibly cheap as a writer. Just so they don't have to write a proper epilogue. Posted Image

The worst romance in terms of how hard Shep dying would be on the other person is if you romance Cortez.

You finally help him get over his husband's death only to die yourself.

He'd probably end up worse than he was before.

Yeah, you're right. Which reminds me: They better have more Traynor in future DLCs. I mean, I haven't even had her as an LI, but Cortez is just so much more prominent now, especially with Leviathan, and Cortez has a couple of side-missions. Femshep's romance options really are lacking compared to Maleshep... Posted Image Should someone make a list?

For some reason this quote reminded me of when I was talking to a friend on WoW who also played ME3. He asked me what I thought of the endings, and I said they sucked pretty hard, and he was all 'You should look up indoctrination theory.'

That was kind of weird.

Pie.

OMG epic timing! And yeah, I would imagine there may be some of that going on. Posted Image

I*ve never tried blueberry pie before! Let's see how that turns out tasting like...

Also, I'm his sister again. Estebanus is working again.

Blueberry pie! Awesome! And hello Estebanusister. Posted Image Would you like to see what I wrote about the extended cut? I have to warn you though; it's rather long. Posted Image

Edit: That's weird. What's the other book? (I've probably never heard of it anyway.)

Sorry for the delay. I was playing Dawnguard.

Anyway, the book is called "de Hvide Mænd"("The White Men" in english), and it's essentially 1984, only that it's set in Denmark.
Kinda reminds me of how Sergio Leone's "A Fistful Of Dollars" is pretty much Akira Korusawa's movie "Yojimbo", only that it's set in Texas.

I stand by what I said all the way back on page 4 of the original thread.

I'm with you on this. My first playthrough ended like "Noooo.... Garrus.... What about our house on the beach?!!!" And then "Noo... What about all that amount of alcohol I promised to drink with my friends after the victory!"

Trully, I think my Shepard would have rather died from Liver cirrhosis after all the promised drinks.

I know. There is simply too much foreshadowing for this to be it. I mean, the writers must have known there would be backlash! They wrote all of the foreshadowing! To me they're hints. I think I'll ask the devs how much backlash they expected and see if I get an answer...

Traynor doesnt even seem like a real romance to me. More like a fling than anything else.

I disagree. I really liked Traynor's romance, as a matter of fact.

Since we're currently talking about romance options in ME, and you brought up Dawnguard, Serana should have been marriable.

They build up all sorts of romantic tension and stuff, then never let you do anything about it.

They made a character I would actually care about having my character marry, and I cant marry her.

I just dont feel like they were together enough or talked enough to ever really start caring about each other. There was like one conversation and they're suddenly having clothed shower sex.

They should add Shiala as a romance option, for the sake of adding more options available to both genders.

I heard you can propose to her, but that she'll turn you down, saying that she isn't comfortable with church ceremonies and all that.

But yeah, Bethesda could've made a good romance if they'd have let you marry her.

Yeah, you can bring up marriage, but she says no. I find it odd that they even put in the ability to bring it up if you cant marry her.

Also: Serana is currently bugged on my game. If I tell her I want to part ways for a while, she says she's going to go to some cave, and then disappears forever, which is no fun.

Also pt 2: Estebanus told me you finished at least one route in KS. I heard you liked it. Planning on doing the rest?

I already did Lilly's route after having finished Hanako's. It was just as good as Hanako's, IMO. It made me cry.

I actually started crying when Hisao was trying to get to Lilly, but then he crashes into a pedestrian while running towards her.

I totally thought first time in ME3 that Traynor would be a LI (fling) for male shep. Come to my realization she was not I was a bit surprised. I mean really. All the flirting comes down to be nothing? If anyone Traynor should have been Bi-sexual not Allers.
