Renegade Shep is renegade
Yeah, you're right. Which reminds me: They better have more Traynor in future DLCs. I mean, I haven't even had her as an LI, but Cortez is just so much more prominent now, especially with Leviathan, and Cortez has a couple of side-missions. Femshep's romance options really are lacking compared to Maleshep...byne wrote...

I was thinking the same thing. Shepard already died once, and it devastated Liara. Having that happen again is... heartless. At least being with her would help. Shepard is the only person Liara has ever been interested in. Having Shepard die in all endings (or as good as) seems incredibly cheap as a writer. Just so they don't have to write a proper epilogue.Home run MF wrote...
About the ending I wouldn't mind Shep dying but not like that, not alone like the first time. Liara is young she could find someone, IDK I think I've seen to many Hollywood movies.
The worst romance in terms of how hard Shep dying would be on the other person is if you romance Cortez.
You finally help him get over his husband's death only to die yourself.
He'd probably end up worse than he was before.

If they wanted to go for nihilism, they could have done it with far greater emotional impact. As it is, it's neither deep, sad, thought provoking, or shocking. It's just stupid. Stupiderest. Of course, there is this little theory some of you may have heard of

Also, I'm his sister again. Estebanus is working again.Would you like to see what I wrote about the extended cut? I have to warn you though; it's rather long.
Edit: That's weird. What's the other book? (I've probably never heard of it anyway.)
I know. There is simply too much foreshadowing for this to be it. I mean, the writers must have known there would be backlash! They wrote all of the foreshadowing! To me they're hints. I think I'll ask the devs how much backlash they expected and see if I get an answer...Paulinesh wrote...

I stand by what I said all the way back on page 4 of the original thread.
I'm with you on this. My first playthrough ended like "Noooo.... Garrus.... What about our house on the beach?!!!" And then "Noo... What about all that amount of alcohol I promised to drink with my friends after the victory!"
Trully, I think my Shepard would have rather died from Liver cirrhosis after all the promised drinks.

For some reason this quote reminded me of when I was talking to a friend on WoW who also played ME3. He asked me what I thought of the endings, and I said they sucked pretty hard, and he was all 'You should look up indoctrination theory.'
That was kind of weird.

I disagree. I really liked Traynor's romance, as a matter of fact.byne wrote...

Traynor doesnt even seem like a real romance to me. More like a fling than anything else.

Since we're currently talking about romance options in ME, and you brought up Dawnguard, Serana should have been marriable.
They build up all sorts of romantic tension and stuff, then never let you do anything about it.
They made a character I would actually care about having my character marry, and I cant marry her.
Which honestly, I couldn't give a lesser damn about.spotlessvoid wrote...

But yeah, Bethesda could've made a good romance if they'd have let you marry her.
But it describes the situation at the end of the game quite well.estebanus wrote...

I already did Lilly's route after having finished Hanako's. It was just as good as Hanako's, IMO. It made me cry.byne wrote...

Also pt 2: Estebanus told me you finished at least one route in KS. I heard you liked it. Planning on doing the rest?
