Cool! I go sailing to Vancouver with my brothers from time to time. It's a great place! It's a shame we can only do that once a year, though...

I am very close to Vancouver...

Coincidence??  Jk. You guys may want to move before the Reapers invade. Probably somewhere safe like London. ;)

Nah, Flensburg is much safer! No one would dare invade Flensburg!

There are reports for regular invasions of Hanar forces invading the Flensburg Bay.
EDIT: Seriously, I am not joking...

@Banshee: Interesting point that Hackett doesn't mention Shepard. If this is the only ending that doesn't give Shepard closure, this might point to IT.

Yeah. Crap, I have to go. I'll be back later. Posted Image

No, I live farther south, in Hamburg. However, I was born and grew up in Flensburg. Or rather, just outside it, that is. I don't see Flensburg that often anymore, though. The military does have a way of dragging you off to distant places.

As a matter of fact, I'm gonna have to move again soon. I'm gonna live in Århus, in Denmark, next.

Thinking of some other ways the ending has shepard's memories interlaced. When TIM uses his power, he's using Morinth's dominate power, which shepard would remember because every Shepard does that mission whether they choose Morinth's side or Samara's.

Adding to the memory of Saren being the same as TIM shooting himself, Synthesis is falling down a hole. After Saren shot himself, he fell down into the garden below the Council chamber. Maybe not the same way, but similar and Saren is pretty much Synthesis. They didn't have to represent it with Saren, because anyone who played the first game or did some research knew this part.

Of course we know all the other myriad ways the ending mirrors Shepard's past in very eerie ways (such as Destroy being the Human Reaper's tubes that you shot in ME2 and Control exhibiting the electrocution pulse of Husks), but I just thought of these. Not sure if anyone else did so I thought I would share.

EDIT: I've been going back and watching key moments of the series and comparing them with scenes after the conduit run. This is why I thought of this and decided to post it.

Assassin's Creed III is going to revolve around the end of the world in 2012. Of course when Desmond isn't hooked up to ANIMUS.

It's an attack they do. The human husks did it in ME1 and I'm pretty sure they've done it throughout the series. They run up to you and throw out an electrocution pulse.

Yes all very good points, also if you go renegade and don't make them kill themselves you have to fight them, TIM way is just shooting him but still it's very much the same.
Edit: I don't know this does Saren kill himself in both renegade and paragon options?

yeah, I know. Nothing concrete. I'm just reiterating that the endings simulate past events of shepard's life in more ways than could be explained by just " reused assets ". Going back through, I'll see something and remember it, check back, and it's always very similar. Can't shake the deja vu.

Interesting how Shepard's mind makes him act like Saren since Shepard already considers TIM his misguided enemy by the time we've gotten to that scene and the mind does association remixes in dreams and hallucinations like that.

Yes. The whole post-beam sequence resembles with a lot of the key moments of the series. Here my short list:

1. Pre-Beam run resembles with Conduit charge in ME 1 (maybe coincidence).
2. Corpses of Ash/Kaidan.
3. Meathouse hallway resembles with Collector-Ship (piles of bodies and the ilumination).
4. Engines of the Citadel resemble the SB-Ship.
5. Control room resembles TIM's office and Citadel Tower in ME 1 (though the latter is not that obvious).
6. TIM's suicide is classy and is some kind of Saren 2.0.
7. Decision chamber we have the ME 2 reaper tubes and husk coils.

Once I adressed this to infamous jellyfish Heretic_Hanar and he explained it with BW repurposing already existing concepts (btw I hope estebanus did not shot Heretic_Hanar with his/her G36... though I like the G3 more, it has less plastic parts ).
But I think I do not have to tell you my opinion on this. It is clear that they had some kind of intentions.

Hmmm....similarities...

Does this prove WNT;) Oh, yeah forgot to mention that I found a video maker that is willing to help on the WNT video. Production will be occurring soon and we (or at least I) hope to get it out within a month or so. All I can say is that it is going to be AWESOME!!!

It's really hard for me to believe that it's not more than reused assets. If it was, then Bioware could have gone into the code and the program and clean it up so not everything looks like crap from Shepard's past. But they didn't, and that is key.
