I miss Anchorage sometimes, but the rainy summers, not so much. When it's not raining its beautiful. Currently the DC area, not a big fan of the heat.

Wanna trade? :P I got some sunglasses for that sun. B) Maybe send some ice while I'm at it. Hope Fed-Ex ships glaciers in one piece....

I swear 75% of the IT forums is either Alaskan or DC area.... sorry Idaho.

Also
still not sure what to think of Leviathan still. Starchild got a boost,
but at the same time Leviathan easily trapped Shepard the same way he
trapped everyone else, so Shepard is special....but not immune to being
controlled.

Some extra dialogue from Starchild leading me to
believe the ME3 ending is going to be modular, each dlc gives us a more
complete picture of what is going on cummulating to a post ending DLC.
Much in the same way Arrival was post ending DLC for ME2.

I was thinking about the possible salarian traitors-Cerberus connection and had an incredible idea.

What if Cerberus was given the tip off about genophage cure attempt by ***the League of One.*** The ME codex did state that there is a rumored secret member that was never accounted for. The salarians may have maintained the organization by making it a one person group. This one person could be used for the most contentious black ops organizations...such as betraying allies to Cerberus

OMG LEAGUE OF ONE! You may be on to something.

It would tie up another story detail that was about as noteworthy as the Leviathan mention in ME 1.  It could very easily be weaved into an easter egg in any upcoming Cerberus dlc.  An easter egg with extensive plot significance Posted Image

Yes.

Good to be back. BW announcing they are working on new DLC? Awesome.

We always knew there would be more DLC. Seriously, I don't see how this comes as a shock to some people! Sorry, I just watched a renegade video Posted Image

BleedingUranium said that since the kid avoids 2 questions (about the crucible and his creators) but one has been answered now, the other will also be answered in DLC (possibly Omega).

Banshee I'm reading your wall of text. About control I always wondered why they don't show us Shepard in Catalyst form? They put that image of Shep walking in an empty space she does the speech and then fade to white and then a close-up of a destroyers chamber.Don't know if I'm making sense, we don't see Shepard controlling anything just Reapers rebuilding.
Also, creepy voice is creepy. Starbrat didn't have a creepy voice.

Good points, I may think of a way to add them to the wall. You're making perfect sense. I never thought of that, but having Shepard in catalyst form would be awesome (besides control being questionable :P). I guess the creepy reaper voice (or lack thereof) is simply another way to manipulate Shepard. No reaper voice, doesn't get reminded of why reapers must be destroyed, etc. And thanks for reading it, I was feeling like it was overlooked. I spent a lot of time on that. I'll do the second half soon, then post it in its own thread.

I think Omega DLC will seek to explain what Cerberus was after throughout the game, what the illusive man's overall plan was...

Yes. If they don't have some plot elements that effect the main story, no one will buy it at this point. And they already did one about the reapers. Hi TSA :) Did you read my wall of text from a couple of pages back?

Would anyone be interested in DLC that introduces a new enemy faction? Surely in a war this big there are going to be merc bands looking to take advantage of the chaos. There are other merc bands out there aside from the the Blue Suns, Eclipse, and Blood Pack.

I guess it would be like the Geth arc; pretty short. It could work, but the reapers still need to be the focus of our attention. Even in Leviathan, the only reason the DLC existed was for Shepard to find a way to DESTROY the reapers...

And we technically didnt find that. We found a way to CONTROL them.

Maybe the next DLC, we'll chase a way to destroy the Reapers again, and only find something that synthesizes humans and Reapers, something like what Cerberus did to Grayson maybe. Maybe thats what the Adjutants are?

And in the final DLC, we'll search for a way to destroy the Reapers, and actually find something.

Hey Byne Blur and I were having a really funny conversation where we'd pick random people or characters and put them in an ME3 style ending with choices that suit their stories. It was really funny.

So, Harry Potter walks into the decision chamber, and has 3 choices:
1. Destroy Voldemort/Death Eaters but also kills all muggels
2. Control the Death Eaters for his own ends
3. Combine all wizards and muggels, and create a race of people who all suck at magic

Edit: Option 4: Do nothing

Which would he choose?

It would tie into the war in that these merc bands would probably take thier chances and assault Alliance supply lines. The books made mention of several merc bands aside from the big three who'd be more than willing to do attack alliance assets to make a name for themselves.

Speaking of Leviathan, I like how it made good use of the seemingly pointless Firewalker quest series where we aquire that orb supposedly made by protheans. It would be nice to see the impact other side missions in ME2 would have on ME3.

A good example would be the N7 mission where Shepard stops a batarian terrorist group from launching javelin missles at alliance assets. He can only save one asset, the colony or the alliance base. I'm surprised ME3 makes no mention of that event.
