They buffed them up so much to try and stop people farming them on FBW. Which did absolutely nothing to stop the FBW farming but did make them utterly terrible for people just trying to play a legitimate random game.
Vanguard + no instant kill units = easy

I doubt they'll ever nerf vanguards. Not enough people actually understand how to play them to make them consistently OP.

Give me your skills. Seriously don't they stagger you? Because I just get out of the animation and another one just does it again. And the fire four rockets at once it's just infuriating.byne wrote...

Yeah, that never made much sense. Why are there good geth around if there are still Reaper controlled geth?
What? No, I mean enemy geth. The lore is explained by Councilor Tevos saying there's still some geth out there with Reaper code. The regular trooper is literally the only enemy on the faction that isn't cheap and/or buggy. The hunters are fast and even fire while staggered, the pyros' damage range is way the hell longer than the flame graphic shows it being, the rocket trooper fires double or even triple rockets sometimes and even fires through walls, the prime's cannon staggerlocks many characters and his turrets (which he can throw through walls) do retarded dps for being a quick recast pet. Oh and he can have like 3 at a time if he wants.
Huh. I never noticed any of that. I find geth to be the easiest of all three enemy types.
Edit: Actually they buffed vanguards not long ago.

This is what I use.
I usually use gear and consumables that decrease my cooldown time as well.
They stagger me sometimes, but its very rare.

IMO last time I played (3 months ago) the geth were the easiest faction on MP. Second was the Reapers and Cerberus was the hardest. (I hate those phantoms and guardians...

What is not surprising, however, is how many people will call the other one a n00b for having an opinion.
Multiplayer pros. Duh.

That's the video I use to prove to my conservative "friends" (because I know exactly one liberal my age) why Fox News is not exactly a trustworthy news source.

The fact that this needs to be proven does not speak well of the country.

If they don't believe you, I would suggest also citing this article:
http://www.foxnews.c...orst-game-kids/ That statistic on rape? It's completely inaccurate. In fact, the number of rapes and sexual assaults in the United States has actually DECREASED. But since when did Fox ever let a little thing like the truth stop them from saying something? <_< Anyway, to keep this from getting political or anything, Bulletstorm. Awesome game. Despite what Fox wants you to think.
Edit: Oh, and don't forget about that bit about how the ESRB isn't enforced at retailers, when I know for a FACT, from first hand experience, that it IS. Being 16 but enjoying MANY Mature-rated games kind of teaches you that.

You know all that did? Support the game even more. Who watches FOX? Older males and females. A good portion of the gaming community are adults 18-35. Not kids. (I see it as a 35% kids 65% adults) Seeing that on FOX just puts it in the comsumers faces and makes them want to check it out for themselves. Pretty much what FOX did was promote the game. It's that simple.

I like the fact that the author they brought on who condemned the game without ever playing it got her book rated 1 star on Amazon by hundreds of people who admitted to never reading it, but claimed they knew it was bad anyways.

I get the feeling the U.S. would be in a lot better shape if parents just taught their kids to actually THINK and evaluate what they believe and who they follow (even if it leads to fights with their parents) rather than blindly believe whatever their parents and people tell them, later leading to the sort of blindness and self-fooling that is so common in people who believe Fox and such.

Yeah.
But the best part was when Jack Thompson came out and said they were making an issue out of nothing.

Maybe that's because it differs on different difficulties? Duh?
I don't know, maybe geth are easy on bronze. On gold, they're the hardest faction. End of story. Unless you count hiding behind counters for 20 minutes straight and spamming grabs as playing, which I don't. Don't believe me? Go read the MP forums. People complain about banshees' magnet hands and they complain about phantoms' general cheating but for the most part nobody minds Reapers or Cerberus. But with geth, it's the entire faction. A lot of people, even very skilled players, simply leave a match the second they see a geth.

All news channels are full of liars and scumbags. FOX is only different in that they're hardcore biased to one politicial agenda. For instance I remember a thing a while back where CNN interviewed John Cena (a wrestler for those that don't know) and they asked him if he does steroids. Over and over and over. After a half hour or more of it, instead of simply saying "no" he got pissed enough to give a rambling answer about how they won't believe him, he can't prove he doesn't and they can't prove he does. They took the clip and carefully editted parts of it together to make it look like he was giving an evasive "yes", then aired it as his answer to them asking him one time. Or how about that story Dateline ran about how GM trucks would sometimes explode, yes explode upon a minor accident? They showed the footage of one blowing up from a minor accident and everyone pissed themselves in horror. Because they didn't see the NBC guys off camera who were hitting the button to detonate the bomb they put on the goddamn truck. They rigged it with a bomb and then claimed it was a ****ing manufacturing defect!
This trash is why I don't bother watching the news. Every news is FOX news.

I'm 31 right now. I forget when exactly I got the first Mass Effect, but I remember that they carded me. I was simply flabbergasted. They wanted to see a driver's license to buy Mass Effect.
I'm religious because it lets me believe that Jack Thompson will burn in hell forever.

In a utopia. But that's a problem with all of mankind, not just the US. Everyone just follows their society's flow without questioning it.
