You know all that did? Support the game even more. Who watches FOX? Older males and females. A good portion of the gaming community are adults 18-35. Not kids. (I see it as a 35% kids 65% adults) Seeing that on FOX just puts it in the comsumers faces and makes them want to check it out for themselves. Pretty much what FOX did was promote the game. It's that simple.

I like the fact that the author they brought on who condemned the game without ever playing it got her book rated 1 star on Amazon by hundreds of people who admitted to never reading it, but claimed they knew it was bad anyways.

Did Fox do a piece on the Mass Effect 3 ending controversy? Or did the gamers scare them off with the response to ME1's criticism? I only remember reading about the ending controversy online (after the fact), then again I don't watch Fox News so wouldn't know anyway.

Never watched Fox News, Otter News on the other hand had a piece complaining they weren't showing enough skin. True story*

Gonna play Leviathan again to look for clues, also because I enjoyed it.

Not sure if you have already done this but have you done a sort of analysis yet of clues, especially things relating ot overlay theory? There's lots of interesting ground to cover, kind of disappointed that there is so little discussion on the matter. Leviathan basically rewrote the rules on indoctrination and there's all kinds of stuff in the lab alone that warrants careful examination. Gotta be some new stuff hiding in the files too.

And remember ITers: BERNARD PLIM SAYS… “TRUTH HUNTER’s … HUNT ON!!!”

Was rewatching one of the biowae pulse videos - the one on combat - there on the table of the devs books Hyperion and Fall of Hyperion. (placed as if for every dev to read - 2.01) This is huge.

The omega point, i've been talkin about - it's one of the main themes off the book. The main enemie - is rouge A.I. And story is much more complicated then when it first seems. evn some motives similiar to IT are featured there.

I know, that it's legion. I mean that at that time that trailer came out - it stated that Commander Shepard is dead in ME2. And everyone was speculating who would be the main character.

Safe to assume everyone assumed that the geth killed him?  Bet nobody expected that geth ganked his armor because Shepard's its idol.

That was awesome

A: "Shepard is still main character!"
B: "You're deluded, trailer says he's KIA!"
A: "But..."
B: "No. He's dead, the trailer says it!"
- Shepard is main character -
B: "Aw ****..."

Sounds familiar :innocent:

Maybe that's because it differs on different difficulties? Duh?

I don't know, maybe geth are easy on bronze. On gold, they're the hardest faction. End of story. Unless you count hiding behind counters for 20 minutes straight and spamming grabs as playing, which I don't. Don't believe me? Go read the MP forums. People complain about banshees' magnet hands and they complain about phantoms' general cheating but for the most part nobody minds Reapers or Cerberus. But with geth, it's the entire faction. A lot of people, even very skilled players, simply leave a match the second they see a geth.

I lol'd when I saw "skilled" player. Obviously bad players, the game is ridicilously easy on platinum even against Geth if you're skilled. The game is PvE, it's not rocket science.

It's rocket science!

Speaking of things that are so very wrong, geth in multiplayer. Truly, WTF?

Yeah, that never made much sense. Why are there good geth around if there are still Reaper controlled geth?

What?  No, I mean enemy geth.  The lore is explained by Councilor Tevos saying there's still some geth out there with Reaper code.  The regular trooper is literally the only enemy on the faction that isn't cheap and/or buggy.  The hunters are fast and even fire while staggered, the pyros' damage range is way the hell longer than the flame graphic shows it being, the rocket trooper fires double or even triple rockets sometimes and even fires through walls, the prime's cannon staggerlocks many characters and his turrets (which he can throw through walls) do retarded dps for being a quick recast pet.  Oh and he can have like 3 at a time if he wants.

Huh. I never noticed any of that. I find geth to be the easiest of all three enemy types.

Err...  how... what...  I don't even...  geth are pretty much universally dispised, even on the MP forums where half the people solo gold.  They buffed them up so much to try and stop people farming them on FBW.  Which did absolutely nothing to stop the FBW farming but did make them utterly terrible for people just trying to play a legitimate random game.

Surely anyone with a reegar or anyone with arc grenades should have no problem with geth?

If by reegar or arc grenades you mean planetary defense cannon, then sure.  Otherwise, lol.

It's very interesting to see that the logic behind the combat system works on a low-res models of the levels.

No, you're right, that was mentioned.  I think Raven even confirmed it.
