You wouldn't like him when he's angry.

Indoctrination Theorists remind of people who wear tin foil hats; as in, loons.

Oh ho? And you know who your group reminds me of? Young Earth Creationists. Incapable of accepting evidence before your eyes, incapable of accepting others with opinions differing from your own, and unwilling to accept that which does not confine to your narrow worldveiw of the universe.

As in, you know, idiots, of the ****ing stupid variety.

Want to try again, mother****er?

Yes, I'm in a bad mood and I'm gonna share it. Buckle up mother****ers, cause it's gonna get loud.

You already told us you're a teddy bear, Arian. Not fooling me! B)

Guess what? I'm also a mother****ing grizzly bear.

I'm going to be honest. That "joke" hurt like all ****ing hell.

It's just a drive-by insult. Best to respond with wit or just to ignore. If they're still paying attention anger will just please them.

Now I'm having Sarah Palin flashbacks.

Why would you do such a thing to me, Arian? Why?!

Pfft, you've got some super thin skin if you take offense to my level of absurdist humor.

Here, have a grizzly bear that gets thrown by meaningless words. Maybe it'll lighten you up.

I can't see anything offensive in Auralius' post. Down here when someone gives you a hard time it's because they respect you. I know it's not a very American way of treating people but I don't think he was trying to be a jerk.

Yes.

Yes I do.

I get the same "We wouldn't make fun of you if we didn't respect you" crap from my real life friends, and I'm honestly sick and tired of it.

I get the implication. But when no one, not even yourself has a good thing to say about you it just

There isnt anything offensive in Auralius' post really. He was just kidding.

Arian would usually realize that, but I think he's in a bad mood for some reason...

We've got plenty of good things to say about you. You make some pretty stirring speeches about IT. I've still got the one about refuse saved somewhere.

Yeah.

But it doesn't feel like it counts for much when it's over the internet.

Sorry... I'll go eat some chocolate, or have some happy pills or something. Depression talking again.

I'd usually reccomend doing what I do when I feel down, and playing Katawa Shoujo (because god dammit, I'm going to ****ing plug it until some one plays it!) but from what I hear, it either causes you to get really happy, or really sad after your first playthrough of it (happy for me), so I dont know if I'd take the chances.

Plus, I dont even know if you like visual novels.

Byne is right Arian. Your are the best out of all of us. I don't know what got you into this mess but let me tell you something Arian I don't ever recall anyone who can create such well thought of things to say. I am being honest here. Not once have I ever seen some try to tell people that IT is this, but you do. Maybe they don't want to listen to you because they know your right, but we know your right to.

It's just... most of my life I've been a laughingstock, or a target, or a weirdo to be dismissed. Not a human being, not someone worth being called a friend, a lover, a teacher, or really anything but a thing. A toy, something to put a few interactions in and get amusement out of by watching it get angry and blow up.

Even the people who were nice to me either were because I was in a position similar to theirs, or because they were just faking it. Wanting to appear nice to "that creepy guy who's always alone with the arrogant sarcastic personality and the bad temper, I mean why doesn't that loser get some friends, seriously he's such a freak." or maybe out of a genuine attempt at compassion, but more like that extended to an injured dog than a human being.

It makes your skin kind of thin. I'm not good at this "having friends" thing, or this "interacting with others beyond your own carefully constructed shell of acerbic wit and caustic sarcasm meant to scare others away." When I bare my soul to people, it just, it feels like a raw wound, getting poked by people I trust, without the intention of healing it.

Fixed! ;) And yes, it works. Came down to it a few months ago when I had a black bear literally banging on my storm door, about to break the glass. Don't know why; no food around, never seen the bear before. I guess some animals are just like some people- just plain dangerous.

And Palin would agree, so lets not go there... because compared to the dirt some of these other politicians have under their rugs, she's a fricken angel.

I appreciate your posts and your thoughts Arian but perhaps this sort of conversation is best for a blog entry or something? I hate to be the constant voice of "stay on topic" and it does seem you have some stuff to get off your chest and as a former sufferer of depression I can understand the need to speak out, totally, but this is not the right place to get what you need.

Wishing you the best in getting through it, it's definitely no picnic and every individual has to deal with it differently. Feel free to drop me a PM if you need a sounding board.
